We stayed at the Aria during our visit to Budapest. The hotel is very new and chic. It has a music theme and the rooms are very spacious and thematic. Most (if not all) face a courtyard with a balcony and are very quiet despite the central location of the hotel. The location of the Aria is in the center...

We stayed here 3 nights and had a wonderful time. It is well placed for the city next to the Basilica (so you can't get lost - just head for the dome!) and in a traffic free street so very safe. I think the best bit is the cheese, wine and music between 4 and 6pm, particularly when the pianist/singer...

My husband and I stayed in the Opera Wing (Room 201) for 5 nights last week for a 60th birthday treat for myself, he informed the hotel of my birthday and on arrival there was a lovely chocolate cake in our room! The room was gorgeous with a courtyard view of the Music Garden! We could hear music drifting up...

Just can't say enough about this hotel. Our family of five stayed here for three nights. The property is absolutely beautiful. The rooms are beautiful, large and so well appointed. The service was "top notch". The employees go out of their way to make sure their guests have everything they need. They serve a very nice complimentary breakfast every morning,...

Once in many moons do all the stars align where you get an amazing hotel, food along with a staff that you want to hug each one of them every time that you see them. They all really made our holiday special in Budapest. Best service I've encountered anywhere in the world. Thanks!!

From the beginning to end this hotel gave us some unforgettable memories for our 19th wedding anniversary. We were met by Joseph at the door and were able to check in 3 hours early! (of course we are sure that was luck so don't expect it). Joseph was the friendliest porter we have ever come across and gave a great...

This intimate music themed hotel is stunning. Vibrant colors and beautiful furnishings. Really a top notch place to stay. Located right next to St Stephen's Basilica it is in a perfect location to walk everywhere within Budapest. Our room on the top hotel floor had a wall of windows and a portion of ceiling made of glass. There were push...

This was our first time at an Aria property. We spent five nights and loved every moment. Aria will be our first choice for future travel. First, the interior is stunning and just draws you in to a warm, art filled atmosphere. Second, the furnishings in public areas and in rooms are very high quality and very tastefully done. Third,...

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
