My friend and i stayed here for 4 nights and had a wonderful experience. We stayed in a studio just a short walk from the main reception. The studio was clean and functional, also very easy to find. The location is central to pretty much the whole city. Everywhere was in walking distance. It is the perfect location for your... More

We stayed one night in studio which was very nice, spacious and well furnitured. There was even washing maschine and huge jacuzzi bathtub. But be aware of the fact, that you have to go to check-in to antoher building, aprox. 300 metres, and for breakfast you have to go also to another place - but those breakfasts are worth going... Myself and 2 friends stayed at the Budapest Museum Central Hotel for 3 nights and absolutely loved it! The staff were extremely helpful with any issues or questions we had during our stay. Very central location with various shops/ restaurants nextdoor and a basic/clean room was provided with everything we needed for this stay. Highly recommended if you're looking for... More

Central location within easy reach of the whole city if you use the very convenient public transport system. Our room was fairly basic but clean and comfortable. There are no facilities to eat or for room service but there are many cafes and restaurants a short walk away. So this is not a hotel for those who whinge or feel... More

The room was nice and clean. And warm at night. Have nothing to say to this. The bathroom as well. The staff were nice and friendly and willing to help and answer your questions. I remember we had a trouble to find the hotel. There was nothing which would lead us there... The hotel is close to the centre, no... More

Clean, spacious room, right in the center of Budapest, in a silent side street. The staff very friendly and helpful. There are many restaurants and shops in the close district, all kind of services within reach. I can recommend it to couples on holiday, even on business trip. Free wi-fi.

Room , clean and tidy. Staff friendly & helpful. Location very good for centre of city , river and Jewish quarter with many bars and restaurants. Stayed with group of mates celebrating a 60th birthday. Visited the riverside , castle and the excellent open air swimming baths/spa complex. Never far away from 'ruin' bar or craft beer pub.

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
