Romantic place in a beautiful and antique mansion in a very quite and charming town. Fantastic food specially deer in a hungarian paprika sauce. Wonderful wine selection. Service is really great, very attentive. We were lucky to have lunch and we could see the owner who is a very fine man and takes care of all details. Decoration is beautifl....

By all counts, this is a good 3 star hotel. Rooms are large, clean and relatively comfortable (although quite basic and a bit 'dated'). Free wifi that works fine, restaurant/bar with okay food, good location in the middle of the village, free parking and an average breakfast included. The price is a bit high for this part of Hungary and...

And old curia, converted to a hotel. Great starting point to explore the beautiful surroundings. Great rooms, fresh eggs at breakfirst. A pity that coffee and juices should be so poor at hotels..... Order a fresh cappuccino or espresso instead of the morning coffee served. The village of Mád is one of the best places where one can try the...

As a returning visitors to Tokaj, we spent a weekend here with the family. It is a very decent a accomodation. The location is great, the service is nice, however quite simple for the price. In a something-star hotel it is quite a disappointment to find unclean toilet, rusty running water and a tiny mattress on the floor as a...

The hotel is the only one in Mad, so you'll stay here anyway if you are in Mad :-) As was already mentioned by a reviewer, the option is good if you have a plan to visit different vineries in its neighbourhood. In sum, the place is very pleasant, as our room on 2nd floor was spacious, there was no...

Stayed here during the summer. Found upper-floor rooms a bit cramped but delightful. No air conditioning, but it was quite cool, as Mad is in the mountains. Morning breakfast buffet adequate. Dinner wasn't great, but OK. Could only get wifi in the dining room. Overall, found it very pleasant.

From webpage it looks excecellent, on site it is a simple pansion. The staff is not very helpfull. We ordered room with aircondition, but there was no air condition. On the other side Mád is a friendly village in Tokaj Region it is worth to visit it. In Mad I think better to find b&b rooms.

A surprising hotel in the midst of the Tokaj Region. A colleague recommended it. It was ideal for touring the many local wineries. The decor was comfortable and festive (still in the Easter season). Our room was spacious and quiet (2nd floor, rear corner). Note there is no elevator and the typical European shower could use an upper bracket for...

Rooms can be very nice, large and comfortable if you really want to stay here and you ha ve the chance to have one of them. But try to avoid those of the second floor: some of them are really tiny and have only a roof window. With a 3 meter hingh ceiling you can be depressive after more than...
