We stayed with 6 friends in hotel Tilto and were very happy with it. The staff was really kind, everything was clean, we had a big room but friends of our had a very small room. The hotel is at walking distance to visit vilnius which is a real asset. The only negative thing was the breakfast that was really...

Really good location - 5 minute walk to old town. Excellent value. The room was clean and comfortable. Hotels in the old town were all 30 euros more........Breakfast room felt crowded and after a day or two, the food was boring. Would recommend Hotel Tilto to others and would return myself as well.

I endorse all the favourable comments made by others. The Tilto is conveniently located and excellent value for money. The young staff, several of them moonlighting students, are friendly and helpful, and have reasonable English. (Incidentally, to those who find older Lithuanians unfriendly I would recommend a visit to the KGB Museum in order to find a possible reason why...

Stayed in hotel for 3 nights, booked 2 rooms. Excellant location, road busy during day but quiet at night. The room is very small, no drawers and no wardrobes so clothes had to stay in cases.. Breakfast is basic, not much choice but there is porridge! The rooms were cleaned daily. OK as a crash pad.

We stayed with friends just for 4 nights. very convenient if you want to safe on money and still to have comfort. Location just in the centre. Perfect. Room was always very clean. The stuff is nice and professional. As I was staying and in others Hotels in Vilnius, I should say, there are not worth to book 4-5 stars...

Rooms are nice ans big, 2mim walking to Vilnius old town. There is one minor negative point, it doesn't have a car park, so those of you who will be staying there with the car will have to park on the street at around 10 euros a day, free on Sunday :) but for those of you on foot, no...

The very best thing about Hotel Tilto is the location. It's less than 200 meters from the main street Gedimino, about 300 meters from the cathedral, and about 600 meters from Pilies street and the old town, i.e. close to everything but away from the noise and hassle. There is some traffic on the Tilto street and I would guess...

Good points: comfortable, friendly, good location near the old town and cathedral, good breakfast, clean, reasonable price. Not so good: the attic rooms for 3 or 4 are rather dark. But otherwise all good.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
As a boutique hotel, located in a fully restored two hundred-year-old building, we take pride in the fact that each room is unique. You may be surprised to find that this lends a particular character to our accommodation that many of our guests find appealing. The combination of its peaceful, yet central location results in a perfect place to stay while in town on business or for exploring Europe's largest old town. The city's most renowned icons are literally steps away from our doors, from the towering white columns of the Basilica cathedral to stalwart Gedminas' Castle perched upon a steep hill overlooking the area. Museums and theaters are also minutes away offering culture and entertainment, while shopping abounds along Gedimino Avenue for those with a taste for fashion. ... more   less
