We stayed in this hotel over xmas and whilst it was mainly good things to say there are some bad points too. It was very snowy and no attempt was made to clear the front of the hotel, which then became an ice skating rink. The breakfast was fine, I didn't eat an evening meal but I can't imagine the...

We were so lucky to choose Kreutzwald hotel. From the beginning till the last minute feeling like home, for real - personnel is nice and attentive, warm - smiling and helpful. Hotel is beautiful, very clean and has good SPA. We had a Zen room 208 - small, but warm and cozy room with computer, big TV, comfortable bed and...

I have stayed at this hotel quite a few times now and i always come back, yes there are many other hotels which are slightly cheaper and right in the old town but the over all experience and staff here at Kreutzwald is second to none. I can not recommend this place enough.

Spent a weekend at the hotel with some friends. We had the Zen room, however not sure if it was worth the money we paid for it. The bathroom had a whirlpool in it, which was nice after walking around the city. However, the room in itself was smaller than I thought and the windows quite drafty. There was a...

The hotel is a bit out of the way but is on a bus line so that transportation is easily available. The hotel is in a non-commercial neighborhood away from noise and bustle. Decor is average (Russian bland); hotel is very clean. While there is a spa - and I went down to see it - no one was there,...

The hotel came in a short-break package. It is about 15 minutes walk from the old town, but there are also inexpensive trolleys and busses within 100 yards of the hotel's front door, that take you close to the old town. The dinner menus are limited, but there is an inexpensive Chinese restaurant, also within 100 yards of the hotel....
