Old-style hotel with just 5 rooms (as far as I can see) per floor on 2nd, 3rd and 4th floors. Right opposite the university's main building. Good Internet. Breakfast was very good, especially the cooked-to-order scrambled egg and the poached eggs with smoked salmon.

Very nice hotel. It has a good atmosphere (you can see old bricks in the wall) and very nice rooms which make you feel like a king. Staff is very friendly and breakfast pleasant surprise. I didn't know that there is that kind of hotels in Tartu.

We stayed in a room located in the attic. The room is spacious, clean and very cozy. From the window you can see the University of Tartu. Despite the fact that the hotel is located in the city center, the room is very quiet. Nearby there are many cafes and restaurants, the main attractions are around the corner. Breakfast deserves...

Stylish hotel in a very good location, parking could be a problem. Restaurant menu too fancy for my taste, breakfast good. Rooms are clean, and nicely decorated in old style. Windows were on the side of the patio, nothing to comment.

This experience, as well as a couple of earlier experiences, was excellent. Historic building, nice rooms with a character and good service. The restaurant is also excellent. If your room is facing the street, then it may be a bit noisy at some times.

Small and quiet hotel in the historical site of Tartu. Friendly and helpful staff. Very delicious breakfast. Plenty of good cafes and restaurants nearby. Spacious and very romantic rooms with huge double beds

It is really romantic (literally rosy) small hotel in historical building. Our room was on the top floor, with rustic wooden beams and a view to the main building of the University. Delicate, attentive and very helpful service in reception and in breakfast.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Antonius is a charming and luxurious boutique hotel in the centre of Tartu, directly opposite the university. This brand new hotel offers 16 romantic suites and rooms on 4 floors. The decoration and design of each room was carefully chosen and thought out, combining special colour and wallpaper patterns, wall paintings, fireplaces, stoves, and antique furniture. Some rooms have amazing views of nearby Tartu University, while others face the old town’s red roofs. The Antonius Hotel is located in a building with a long and dignified history, being first mentioned in the historical records of the 16th century. During the subsequent centuries the building was home to a hat shop, the Livonian Noblemen’s Manor House Credit Association, and the famous Guild of Saint Antonius. ... more   less
