The camper van bar is a great design feature. Good friendly staff and excellent selection of beer at very reasonable rates. Very good for groups, plenty of places to sit. Also known as the Aussie Pub, but found no actual antipodeans in residence when I was there.

We only popped in for one drink during happy hour but it was a cute, fun little bar. It was pretty busy when we were here around 6pm, so I imagine it gets very busy later! There was a range of drinks to pick from in the happy hour, and the bar is in a camper van. Just looked like...

We arrived last on a Friday evening to a packed pub after an evening of travelling. Check in was easy and we had a very large and spacious room for 5 of us on the top floor of the hostel. The hostel itself is actually very small so the staff are very friendly and take time to get to know...

The Riga old town hostel and pub is a fun and solid hostel and definitely worth the European famous title. The pub on the first two floors is always pumping with rowdies and the hostel on the next 3 floors has a lot of the rowdies staying there. The facilities in the hostel are good and the staff keep the...

Here I had the only bad experience in Riga. The workers, especially a little blonde woman, are very unfriendly and incompetent, although it looks like a nice place. Unbelievable! The employee should behave as a representer of the pub and the hostel.

I heard a lot about this place before I went to Riga so was glad I finally got to check it out and have a "few" drinks. The place has a big combi van inside it - lovingly put together with all original parts. They do cheap Latvian beer tasting platters as well! But I stuck to the lovely cider...

Have spent many nights here and has one of the best atmospheres I've encountered whilst travelling. Plenty of different drink choices that aren't going to break the bank, and the friendly staff always make your time enjoyable. Will be coming back!

Great hostel to stay at, has a great bar that has the largest number of beers on tap I have ever seen for a hostel. Really fun staff behind the bar/reception/VW van. It is a party hostel thought so expect drinking but they offered ear plugs. Have to say it wasnt too noisy in the rooms but not one if...

I went on a beertasting with a group of travellers. We tried all the beers on draft, for a very reasonable price. All beers are latvian and when we were there, it even included a cider and a (surprisingly good) gingerbeer. The pub looks great, with the VW van that functions as a bar. Good atmosphere and there's always something...
