3 nights - Extended weekend (Christmas Market trip). Rooms are indeed large, well appointed, comfortable beds/pillows and the underfloor hearing excellent...verging on over enthusiastic. No traffic noise either - which was great. Wifi: love the idea of personal in-room wifi...shame it didn't work. Didn't love being barred from the hotel bar on arrival (after full day of travel) due to...

This hotel is lovely. Our room were large, service excellent and breakfast was yummy. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. It was in a great location. It deserves it's place as number 1 hotel in Riga.

Huge Rooms. I mean huge. Plenty of room to lounge, work and sleep. Service is great. And it's a small hotel so it's quiet. Breakfast is amazing. It's all you need to have on a business trip and still feel like you have a little bit of home with you.

When my taxi arrived in the courtyard at Hotel Bergs the staff literally sprinted out the front door to greet me and take my bags to the reception desk. Check-In was easy and efficient. The young chap who showed me to and then around my room was cheerful and very helpful. The hotel is finished to a very high standard...

Great location, close to the park, car parking is payed ( 20 eur.p.d) rooms are big and fully equipped, great service, nice breakfast, quite expencive, but worth for a comfort. The only thing I didnt like, was the offer to go to the Biblioteka restaurant when I asked for a simple unexpencive place to eat and this is probably one...

My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights. The hotel is set back from the street in a lovely little courtyard. We totally loved our room. It was very quiet and spacious with excellent beds. The decor is modernist, with chic furniture and lighting. The breakfast buffet offers the best omelette of our trip, and the balance of the...

This is probably the best hotel I have ever stayed in or, at least one of the two best I have ever stayed in (along with the Ascot Hotel in Copenhagen) and I have stayed in a lot of hotels. It is such a tremendous difference, when the staff is devoted to making you happy rather than selling additional services...

I'm not a car person on vacations, and happen to like using public transport in other countries. I took a bus from Lithuania to Riga. Easy walk from station to an elegant courtyard! I used the gym and sauna while there. Spotless, clean. I adore Riga, and am looking forward to visiting again, and will stay at Hotel Bergs again.
