My husband (in particular) when commuting between Scotland and his job in Estonia plus we have a house in Latvia have been staying here for many years(1990). When possible we stay in Room 615 which has a large jazuzzi bath in a massive bathroom. The layout of the hotel is pretty unusual - a number of rooms on different levels...

This hotel is clean and comfortable with helpful and friendly staff. It is not 5 * luxury, but it more than does the job. Breakfast is substantial and (surprisingly rare for a hotel at this price) there is freshly ground coffee. Medieval Riga is a 10-15 min walk. Art Nouveau sights are closer. Highly recommended.

Nothing outstanding, but this hotel is a perfect place to stay for a couple of days in Riga. The room we stayed in may be in a need for some renovation but it adds to the overall atmosphere of old city. Great breakfast, comfortable rooms and nice location (you need to take a walk through some picturesque streets and historical...

Great room, friendly staff, were very responsive to any email or question you asked! Nice breakfast as well and comfortable beds! Only downside is maybe that it is a little bit far from the old centre, but walking is possible and a taxi is not expensive at all!

We choose this hotel becourse of others good recommendation. We were disappointed. It is nice, cheap, central and cosy. As a budget hotel is is nice - but if you like a good breakfast and nice rooms - it is not a good choice. The bathroom was actually nice - but we did not have a reason to use it.

Spent a weekend with 4 friends sharing a room for a weekend. It was a simple and clean place with all the basic necessities. Nice staff and very helpful giving all kinds of tips and information. I would not recommend the restaurant for anything more than the most simple meals. All in all I highly recommend it.

Very friendly helpful staff, rooms clean and comfortable, bathroom well equipped with shower over a tub, hairdryer. The taste in decoration is very eclectic and the layout of the building is "different" the reception is on the third floor accessed via an amazing stair case or an old fashioned cage lift. Very central to Riga and we visited all the...

Feel just like in home. In a quiet part of Riga but of 5 min of the center of the old City, this hotel is THE place to book. Very cheap price and great service. I really recommend it! If you come from the airport, you don't have to book a taxi. Just take the company AIR BALTIC and negotiate...

Laine Hotel is a 3 star hotel located 10 minutes walk from the center of Riga. Rooms are spacious and equipped with a TV. The bathroom has a bathtub and a hairdryer. Almost all of the sights of Riga are within walking distance. In room you can use wireless internet. The hotel serves a breakfast buffet. I especially recommend pancakes.
