this is the second time that I have stayed at this hotel with a group and I can not fault it, Food was excellent (need to go on diet now). Excellent traditional buffet breakfast, and the evening meals were excellent too. Staff all so friendly as well as the owners. Makes all the difference when you are staying away from...

Having just stayed here for the second time and also due to return in March I can't fault the Hotel Oberland , Rooms 11 and 12 which we have been in were both roomy with comfortable beds with a shared balcony and lovely views of the mountains and cliffs . Breakfast was continental with a large choice to choose from....

Location is a big part of choosing a place to stay. This hotel provides easy access to exploring the region. The hotel is a bit run down, but is fine for hikers and skiers. The ceiling in our room and the shower was almost too short for one of us to stand straight up. The bed was comfortable. Plenty of...

We were in room 43, top floor with balcony and awesome views. The building, like many in Lauterbrunnen is relatively old with smaller style rooms and bathroom. The bed was creaky every time you moved and also a bit shorter than normal. However the breakfast buffet was very good and service from staff excellent. Ask for a room on lower...

I have stayed at Hotel Oberland many times over the past decade. The staff is great, with the owners providing lots of attention. Beverley is especially knowledgable about different hikes and activities worth doing. I have always liked staying in centrally located Lauterbrunnen while in the Jungfrau region. It is very convenient to many great places in the area and...

We booked a room with balcony and mountain view, I think this was a very good decision. Everyone at the hotel was extremely helpful and friendly. They gave us extra tips, and gave our little girl special attention and advice on the cold. The rooms were average, but good, for a countryside hotel. Again, in true Swiss fashion, the rooms...

Great place to be based whilst in Lauterbrunnen. Not too far to walk from the station with luggage. Our only regret was that we were staying for 1 night. Our room was lovely, a good size room and room for our luggage too. We had a balcony which was lovely to view the lovely Lauterbrunnen. Staff were friendly, we ate...

Nice, family run hotel. Our family had three rooms and each had a great view of the town and falls. We also ate at the restaurant which we also enjoyed. Hotel owner does not want people to use their cell phones in the restaurant, bar or lobby.

Stayed here as a family and disappointing is the only word I could use to describe this hotel. The interior really needs a complete overhaul. Its like an Irish grannies house in the 60s. The room carpet and curtains are chronic. To be fair it is clean and the staff were nice. They also were accommodating with our requests. The...

Location is excellent. We had a couple of rooms on the second floor and both had gorgeous views of Staubbachfalls from the balconies and windows. The smell of the hotel, though, was a bit overwhelming and off putting. We all agreed that it smelled like fish sauce or shrimp paste, but after ordering the fondue, we realized that the smell...
