Lovely apartment to stay in, overlooking the waterfront. Nicely specked. Great place to sit on the deck, have a wine or to and watch the world go by. Comfortable beds and couch. So easy to relax here. Everything is on your doorstep here. The hosts were amazing and even gave me chocolate for my birthday. Would definitely stay here again...

Had a wonderful stay from the friendly check in to the beautiful french inspired room with spa bathroom. (Room 69) Good amenities including crystal wine glasses, nice dishes, full size bodem, microwave, kettle etc. and very comfortable 4 poster bed. The view to the harbour was great and we had our evening wine, cheese and pate on the front patio...

The Village Inn was very comfortable ,well run, clean and close to everything in this area, we could have stayed longer to relax and enjoy the surrounding scenery. If you are an artist you could easily spend 2 weeks taking in the never ending sights.

The complex is immediately opposite the main waterfront and wharf. In the summer because of the earthquake in 2011 we have cruise ships arriving into the village and this makes a busy and interesting harbour. Lots of day trips and things to do.

Quaint comfortable good size room and bathroom. Good heaters and wifi. Well stocked kitchen area. I note you did have to wash up any dirty dishes or there would be a fine. You can tell this is an older building that has been done up, some little imperfections, but overall a very lovely room on the ground floor with views...

Hello Nicho123, Akaroa in Winter is a very unique time. It is very peaceful and quiet. As Summer is extremely busy, alot of business owners take their holidays in Winter but they do work together to make sure that there are enough restaurants open. The restaurants do close early though, so late arrivals to Akaroa now have our Convenience Store...
