The village Inn is situated towards the far end of the town and is immediately in front of the jetty used for most of the water based activities in the area. The rest of the town is only a short 5 minute walk away making the town accessible on foot. The unit we stayed in was a self contained unit...

Easy walk to shops, bars, restaurants and hotels. Right near the bay just no views of the water, we were in ground floor apartment. It is a bit dated but clean and comfortable. Good kitchen facilities if you want to do some basic cooking. Easy parking. Kerrie was very friendly and helpful.

We were a tad disappointed with our two bedroom apartment. It was very basic and the noise from the apartment above us in the evening was not nice. Sorry Akaroa Village Inn we will not be staying with you again.

Ideally positioned on the bay frontage... Our apartment was a 2BR facing the wharf. Rooms were clean and comfortable except for a couple of aspects such as no AC. We arrived on a hot day and couldn't cool the BR's down which made for a very sticky first night (even with a the windows open). Whilst the Internet is free...

We needed an overnight stay somewhere before the rigours of work intrudes on our lives again. Very relaxing. Kerrie and Shane were awesome. Can't speak highly enough of them. EVen if they are Aussies. ;) Highly recommended. Will return soon.

Excellent facilities and location - lovely modern units with ample furnishings and great cooking facilities. Very well equipped rooms could not have been better, we wanted for nothing. Helpful and friendly staff. Single serve breakfast cereals, extra milk and fruit etc., available in reception.

2 nights here, we loved it, unit was a great surprise, unusual decor which really worked, very well appointed and we wanted for nothing. Lovely see view from lounge window and well placed on sea front for everything you could want.

I was so impressed by the Village Inn! The apartment had a stunning view of the waterfront and was equally stunning inside with great decoration and comforts. Our room had a nice terrace outside overlooking Akaroa where you could read, BBQ and enjoy meals in the sun. The location was perfectly situated in town so you could walk to all...

Popped in to the little General store at the front of the Inn grab some lunch to take to the waterfront. Met with a fine selection of local foods and delicacies from freshly baked bread, handmade chocolates, pies and more. The manager of the inn and store was super friendly, full of advice on the best scenic route back into...

To me, the name suggests a quaint "inn" with dark wood and old finishes, however nothing could be further from the truth. We were lucky to stay in room 69 which was elegantly decorated with French inspiration and a divinely comfortable four-poster king bed. A generous sized spa bath was a real treat. The room was overall quite large with...
