I am a solo woman travelling with my dog and this morning went to leave the hotel when I was harassed by a group of other guests. There was about five males all with motorcycles parked outside their rooms, they were middle aged and dressed in leather. They all yelled profanities at me while I tried to pack up my...

We booked a studio room online a month in advance, so were disappointed when we arrived to find that there wasn't a double bed, and the room was only wide enough for the two single beds separated by the door through to the bathroom. As others have commented, the reception was locked with room allocations on a list stuck to...

We required an overnight stay for 4 at short notice. The price was right, the bedrooms were good and comfortable. However the living area was small and the kitchenette very small even for one. The rooms were clean

Quaint hotel central to everything with extremely welcoming, friendly owner. They are in the process of doing them up and our room. Was quaint, I would suggest access to a fan in the room for summer months as even with a window open the room got very muggy and a bit uncomfortable to sleep in. Great to see they offer...

We booked this online so were expecting something a bit different to what we got. Our 2 bed unit was quite tired although I believe the units are being done up. It was very clean and tidy but the living space was quite small so wouldn't want to be here for too long with 2 teenagers! We arrived in the...

Booked to stay at this accomodation online, as we wanted to stay two nights and wanted something central to enjoy as a family. Definitely is in a good location, however I'd rather stay out of town a bit if it meant nicer accomodation. This was expensive accomodation for our family ($195 a night for a two bedroom unit) but we...

In the middle of Picton's main street with parking for each unit at the door this motel could not be more conveniently located. Room was recently refurbished and all our expectations. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect location, great service and lovely hosts and VERY VERY clean - will be back. Rooms were nicely appointed - plenty of kitchen utensils. Really good for family visits - love the little motel labs and shower pressure "perfect" minute from the beach - perfect

This place is dated, unkept, is desperately in need of maintenance - the shower has a sign saying you must turn the tap on to work shower!, owners need to fix this as the shower was a trickle. There was a horrible wet patch by the fridge as it wasn't working, flies and old. I would need see this as...

I cannot honestly believe what happened last night. We stayed in the room 6 on 1st January for a night for $170. My partner, my mother and I woke up this morning discovered we both beaten severely by god knows what. We went to report to reception, they didn't seem to care. We had to go to to closest chemist...

We are situated right in the heart of Picton, surrounded by shops, restaurants, cafes and bars. The Ferry terminal is only 750 metre's away and the railway statin is even closer than that. There is so much to do with the opening of the Marlborough sounds just a minutes walk from you room. You can book a fishing charter or just cruise the sounds eating seafood and having a couple good marlborough savvy's. You can book some push bikes and take in some of the beautiful scenery on offer. We have 10 units available, 4 Studio's and 6 family two bedroom units. Each unit has a carpark outside their door so need to worry about finding parking out on the street. We are pet friendly by prior arrangement so if you are moving and don't have an option of putting your pet in a kennel etc bring him/her with you! ... more   less
