It was a great stay and sad we had to leave after one night. You should definitely tray to stay at least for two nights at this great place! Highly recommended! Generous hospitality! Thank you, Bruce!

Stayed for 2 nights and had a great time. Make sure to try some cooking with some fresh garden herbs and try to catch a fire show. Great short walks starting a walking distance and just 15 minutes from the town centre.

An absolutely gorgeous respite with an idyllic setting. Maintained by the lovely hosts Nikki and Bruce (the tall one), we felt immediately welcomed and it didn't take long for a deeply peaceful harmony to set in! The cozy atmosphere and bountiful gardens give way to an immaculate house with heaps of space, a well set up kitchen, and decent WiFi....

We stayed for four nights and it just wasn't enough! We could of stayed forever. We absolutely loved every second. Bruce made you feel welcome the minute you walk in the door and becomes your friend. The place does not feel like a backpackers, it feels like home away from home. It is spotlessly clean and well cared for. The...

Stayed there now four different times, each time have had a great experience. The place is clean, well organized, and has everything a traveler needs. The staff are relaxed helpful and fun. Perfect accommodation, comfort, relaxed and has fun hard to define style. Function without any fuss. Just felt easy staying there, the Right Choice staying in Picton no matter...

This place is great! Cozy beds, nice homey atmosphere, and friendly owners! I would definitely come here again. The access to spices and the garden is a big plus, and for a small price, Bruce offers homemade bread and jams for breakfast.

As mentioned by others, Jugglers Rest is so much more than a backpackers. It was the only place I felt at home during my eight week trip through New Zealand. Bruce and the staff really go the extra mile; even making a (no added cost) lamb roast for the other guests and I on my first night. The eclectic mix...

We thought Picton is so small that we just wanted to stay there for a night. But then Bruce, one of the owners, persuaded us to stay a night longer and it was definitely worth it. The hostel is really small and cosy, so that there is no harm to start conversations with the staff or guests. The staff is really...

Jugglers Rest is not so much a hostel than a guesthouse in the true sense of the word. With its warm, friendly atmosphere, homey, impeccably clean rooms, lush gardens, and a blazing fireplace warming your feet as well as your heart on cold nights, you will not find a better place to relax in all of Picton and beyond. Bruce...

Jugglers Rest is the best hotel/motel/hostel I've ever been to. It was so cosy and cute. The interior and exterior design was perfect and it inspired me to redecorate my own home back in Sweden. If you're going to picton, Jugglers Rest is a must!
