Definitely the best backpackers I stayed in on my travels around NZ. Enjoyed my first night so much I booked again on the way back up for an extra two nights. Really homely, loved the kitchen, but best of all was Nikki who owns the...More

One of the best hostels I have ever stayed in! Comfortable rooms with comfortable beds, great common room, nice kitchen, a garden where you can harvest vegetables, fruit and herbs. Great outdoor area. Nice and very helpful staff! Absolutely worth the price!

Uhm it is a quiet long walk. Takes you probably 20min by walking... But I'd say it is worth it. You can try to ask them to pick you up, but I think they don't do it normaly.
