The Villa is a lovely backpackers with a real home like atmosphere. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and tidy. The decor is a little bit dated and would definitely benefit from a very light re-vamp. I would, however, stay again in a flash and would highly recommend it to anyone staying in Picton.

We spent 2 nights in this lovely BBH... Everything is so made with love, you feel like on Christmasday at Grannys. In the evening we got apple crumble for free and even breakfast in the morning for free. The kitchen is very clean and there are enough bathrooms and toilettes. The living room with the warming fire invites for cheating...

The check-in service was okay I guess but the staff seemed too interested in talking and entertaining each other than they did with us or any of the other guests. We were greeted to off duty staff drinking and socialising in the hot tub, talking about which guys they're going to be with next and so on and so forth....

I spent 2 nights in June (winter) in this very cozy, full of character and comfortable place. Free apple crumble was served at 8 pm so everyone gathered in the fire heated living room. The hosts dropped me at the boat pier as it was raining. It's a really short distant walk from the pier, one street away from Picton's...

Good location between many shoppes. Good price for a big and clean dorm, and comes with lots of free facilities, breakfast and Apple crumble for dessert. Staff were friendly and helpful. It would be an excellent hideout in the summer. Love it!

Friendly booking over the phone, so that was a good start. Arriving with no one at front desk I pressed the call button. After a couple minute I just look back, a staff member sees me, but it's obviously not her job at this time to take care of customers, so she just closes the door to the staff room....

A great place with a seaside vibe especially in the garden but also cosy with log fire for the colder months. Apple pie and ice cream served every evening which is a great way of meeting other occupants. Clean facilities and friendly volunteers. Good laundry facilities. Comfortable ensuite room with separate entrance made me a little security aware but low...

Warm showers, warm spa, beautiful gardens, adorable and historic house. I love this place! You feel right at home here. I ended up staying an extra day because I never wanted to leave! The staff are always helpful and willing to make recommendations for daily activities. Kitchen is well equipped, everything is clean and functioning. No complaints! Absolutely loved it.

Only stayed for one night prior to sailing on the Interislander. Great little backpackers with nice clean rooms (we had a double) and good communal facilities. Didn't get a chance to try out the hot tubs but these looked good. Only negative comment would be that the bed in room 2 was way too soft -time for a new mattress...

Spent one night here en-route to Abel Tasman. Hostel is in a rehabbed Victorian home. Convenient location to port and shopping. The in-house staff is very good and very accommodating. I slept in what is called 'The Swamp'. 10 people in 5 bunk beds. Not particularly comfortable. Cramped room and with the luggage of 10-folks strewn about it was like...
