We were looking for a place to spend a couple of nights while exploring Waiheke. As it was summer season, we had been having problems, but the Auckland I-site suggested PUNGA LODGE. A great find! It is on the main road from the ferry terminal, down a rather precipitous driveway, but well worth it. The rooms are comfortable and well...

Recently stayed in the cottage at this property, whilst attending a wedding on the Island.4 nights was the minimum period of stay for the overpriced cottage and felt that the property was forcing guests into a booking of unnecessary length, considering the state of the place. On arrival, noticed many items of basic rental accommodation requirements that should be attended...

Punga and Tawa Lodges are owned by a great couple, Dyan and Rob are just the best hosts and really look after and spoil their guests. A short walk from Oneroa township and about 100M from Little Oneroa Beach. The units are set in native bush so it's great to relax on the balconies listening to the bird life whilst...

Dyane welcomed us with tea and home made cookies. An immediate statement to make us feel at home and welcome. She has a wonderful little place in the valley with all sorts of birds visiting her. The accommodation is simple but sufficient and a beautiful spot to start your exploration of the island from. Breakfast is standard with home made...

I have never before felt as much hospitality as I did at the Punga Lodge. The owners treat you like family and make you feel right at home. When we missed afternoon tea, cakes were left in our room, and when it was a hard time of day to find a taxi the owner volunteered to give us a lift...

After reading good reviews we were looking forward to seeing if this place stood up to them. Both Dyan and Rob were great hosts, from the moment we walked in and were offered a cup of tea and some cake, we knew we had made a great choice. After sitting chatting with them while we drank our tea, even their...

Not pretentious nor over the top. Simply a place to relax and be comfortable. Always clean and tidy. Very close to a wonderful little beach with a take away and a small store for all your everyday needs. The owners are always friendly and willing to help in any way. Lovely breakfast is included and also at tea time be...

Lovely B&B close to Little Oneroa beach on Waiheke Island. The lodge is close to the town (approx. 10min walk) and a lovely place to stay. The owner, Dyan is a treat and immediately made us feel very welcome. She's also a wonderful baker!

After visiting a couple of vineyards a friend and I decided we wanted to stop on Waiheke overnight to make the most of the experience. The host was very accommodating and included afternoon tea and breakfast for a bargain price of $99 in total (spring on the day deal). A good afternoon on the wineries meant we missed afternoon tea,...

It was such a delight to stay in this cosy lodge, the owner Dyan is one of the most hospital person I have ever met. She not only gave us choices of rooms then upgraded us to this lovely huge apartment. Her sweet treats are delightful and you can see all the hard work she puts into her work. Very...
