I was proposed to by my partner at Lavender Hill on an amazing overnight surprise getaway. He had been liaising with Tracey who had helped him coordinate all of his finer details including a decoy story! We were collected from the ferry terminal and delivered back to our cosy suite where the fire was already on waiting for our arrival....

Had a beautiful queens' birthday weekend getaway at Lavendar Hill. Tracey was a superb host helping with the accommodation and all the arrangements for the surprise proposal. thoroughly enjoy the spectacular views from the top of lavender hill. both the delicious hot breakfast menu and the 5:30 pm drinks by the fireplace at the main house were a perfect touch...

We stayed at Lavender Hill for one night over the Queen's Birthday long weekend. The suites (in a farmhouse off the main house) were beautiful, rustic and super comfortable with some pretty stunning surroundings. The best part was the hospitality - Tracey goes out of her way to make you feel welcome and relaxed. Just an example was the invitation...

Just a perfect relaxing long weekend. The venue was perfect, with great views. We were well looked after and would love to go back again. It's a shame that it's up for sale, wish I had enough to by it myself. Everything was just great, including the wine before dining out at night and the lifts to the venues. Thanks...

We decided to book Lavendar Hill for the night of our wedding but we also used it as a spot for my husband and i to have a secret meeting with photos before our ceremony at Mudbrick later that day. And what a spectacular day it was. Bronwyn pulled out all the stops regarding my last minute wishes to arrange...

My wife treated me for my birthday surprise last year having just returned from a 4 week holiday in Toscana, Italy and we could not believe the quality warmth of hospitality, a little experience of luxury only a 40 minute ferry ride from our home in Auckland. We've had the good fortune for travel both business and leisure and have...

We stayed at Lavender Hill the night of our wedding in March 2014 which was held at Mudbrick Vineyard just up the road. At first I was hesitant about spending so much for less than 12 hours here (we had to leave in the morning to get back to Auckland), but I'm so glad we booked Lavender. Firstly, this place...

In March 2013, we celebrated our wedding anniversary by staying in Lavender Hill. Everything was so perfect we decided to go back there again this year! And once again, it cannot be faulted. The rooms were extremely clean, the hosts welcoming and very helpful, the breakfast was delicious and grounds' very well maintained. Unlike our first visit, which we enjoyed...

This was our very first stop in NZ, and what a beginning. If a European wine country villa mated with a beach side resort, this place would be their love child. Tracey and Bron have created an island sanctuary that transports guests to a Tuscan villa, complete with lavender, olive groves and short strolls to local wineries. The rooms are...

My husband and I stayed at Lavender Hill for a night with another couple and had a fabulous time. The views are breathtaking and the accommodation absolutely gorgeous. We had a beautiful room which is set slightly separately from the main house and was spacious with comfortable beds and a lovely bathroom. There is a gas fire for a winter...
