A beautifully renovated and tastefully decorated home, with an open floorplan looking out on a lovely and verdant courtyard. Guest bedrooms are above and toward the back of the building, and feature a large covered veranda with an open area beyond. We enjoyed delicious breakfasts on a patio just off the courtyard, watching lizards and birds move about. Lunches and...

Danielle is lovely, excellent advise what To do. Rooms are very nice, and location is right in the centre. Very advisable to have à stay there. Don't book the wrong hostal. Apparently people have been "lending" the name.

Hostal Alameda is a marvellous house with a mini subtropical climate. Within the house there are many trees, and beautiful plants which attracts all sorts of birds. The house itself is very old yet nicely renovated with pastel colours which makes the place seem like a natural habitat. A lovely place in the heart of Trinidad. The host, Danielle has...

I was wandering the streets looking for somewhere to stay when I knocked on Daniela's door - normally her place is pretty much booked out but I was very lucky and was able to stay for five nights. Overlooking the roofs of Trinidad and depending which of the two rooms you have even seeing the ocean (I had the fabulous...

Beautifuly decorated casa in the heart of Trinidad, your heart will stop when you see how Dany has devoted the past 8 years of her life to creating an oasis to welcome us to her adopted home. From Quebec, Dani is the most charming and welcoming host who prepares the most delicious breakfast of all Cuba. Listen to her recommendations...

Excellent stay in Trinidad in a very beautiful (Tuscan style), secluded home. Very central location near plaza de la musica. Very handy as well is the garage that is available to safely park your car (Alexi even helped us out when our car broke down to arrange a replacement car from the rental agency!)

The host, Dani: • Kept a three-story high mango tree and other trees that attract hummingbirds and other birds that eat mosquitos. • Doesn't waste water. • Recycles plastic. • Doesn’t have air conditioning. The cool breeze and fan were enough for me. She made me feel right at home, especially because she was so sassy! Her email is hostalalameda.trinidadcuba@yahoo.com....

I guess it was something destiny that made us knock on Danielles door in search for an accomodation in Trinidad. A beautiful house with rooms over the roof tops from where you can even get a glimpse of the ocean. Staying here means relaxing in the hammock while listening to the wonderful sounds of Music coming from the neighbourhood, eating...

We stayed four nights with Danielle - what a warm, welcoming and humorous host. This is a cool and peaceful refuge from the busy town, a beautiful shaded courtyard, gorgeous interiors, fab views from the terrace and music gently wafting. Wonderful home-made bread and pastries, lots of proper coffee and a mean omelette! If there's good music on, Dani will...

We stayed 2 nights with Danielle who is a great personality, genuinely interested in meeting new people and sharing some good times. She showed us the best restaurant in town and her house is a unique Flinstones casa. Right in the centre of old town.
