We stayed here for two nights. The location is fantastic. In a beautiful part of the old town in Trinidad. The house is incredible with a beautiful little roof terrace to get views over Trinidad. Iris is an excellent host. She is very friendly and bubbly. She speaks great English and was very helpful for us. She rang ahead for...

I really enjoyed my stay at El Tayaba. Iris and her family are wonderful hosts and made sure everything was fine during my stay. The house in general is big and clean, you have a patio that gives access to the terrace upstairs, where you will enjoy your breakfast and dinner if you wish. They can provide you with good...

Hostal El Tayaba is the BEST casa that we stayed in Cuba! Iris and her family made us feel so welcome and really made our time in Trinidad special. The room we stayed in was very comfortable, meals are delicious and the location is extremely convenient. Iris just went above and beyond to make our stay memorable and even organised...

What a wonderful person and nice house were Maria del Carmen and her casa! She made us feel at home from the first moment we got there. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Trinidad is a beautiful but crowded place and we came totally to rest there, no sounds from the street. Maria del Carmen made an extra effort for...

The house is an old tobacco factory, very old furniture and huge rooms. It is very central. The people are very friendly. Inès was great, she helped us to book a group taxi from Cienfuegos to Havana for 2 days later. However, the room that gives out onto the front is very noisy, as opposite an all-night bar with music....

This casa used to be a tobacco factory and is now a lovely courtyard home. Our room faced the courtyard. Given that the old town is cut off from traffic, this was one of the most peaceful, quiet houses we had in Cuba. The hosts are genuinely friendly, professional, and had some good conversation with them. We were able to...

Lovely house with one spectacular period room and several other more standard ones. We actually opted for one of the standard rooms in the back since the more formal room faces the street and is across from a popular 24 hour bar. The courtyard was pleasant and there are two levels of small terraces with nice views. One is where...

Our stay here was magical. Beautiful antiques, breakfast on the upstairs terrace. Cobblestone streets, music music music! Great food right across the street! Our hostess Iris was delightful and full of great information.

My girlfriend and I stayed at Hostal El Tayaba for two nights in late August. The casa is in a great location, walking distance to many restaurants, bars, and sights in Trinidad. We stayed in a room off of the courtyard, which was a bit dated but still clean and comfortable. Iris and her family were incredibly helpful and friendly....

This B&B was a nice 2-day respite from a very hot Trinidad in April, 2015. Travelling with another couple, we each had air conditioned rooms with two beds, each and private bathrooms. There is an additional room, at the front of the home, nicely furnished with pre-revolution antique furniture from this home of a cigar maker. The courtyard with tables...
