We visited Trinidad over Xmas and thought that Ricardos Casa was a lovely place to stay during those days. The upper room (in which we stayed) is very spacious and the colonial interior design of the house is quite charming. It also has various roof terraces and balconies offering stunning views of Trinidad and its surroundings. We had a great...

We loved everything about this place! Not just the colourful details of this beautiful hostel, but the hospitality and the comfort was beyond good. Ricardo does everything to help you and makes you feel like at home. Rooms are clean, the place has this beautiful terrace, and the breakfast is the best you can ask for. It's been a few weeks since I've been back, but I want to write the review because Ricardo and the other guy (maybe his brother, I'm sorry, I don't know - he brought us our food. Ricardo cooked it) were SO nice. The place is lovely - there's patios, and a rooftop terrace where we ate every meal. They gave...

At the bottom end and less pretty end of town, but still central. Biggest issue, and probably affects most casas in area is the need to pump water from street level to roof top tank by domestic hose. Competition for the water means pumps run late at night, our room was right next to pump😕 Room adequate and clean. Ricardo...

We stayed there 3 hour then immediately left. A huge cockroach in the bathroom, funny smell, extremely low ceilings, mould in the corners and electric installations with horror quality. After dinner in this house we were sick for 3 days. Never again in this horrible place !

I have stayed now twice at Casa Dianelys Y Ricardo, once about two years ago and again this September. We did not bother to look for anything else in Trinidad this time but went straight there as we had such a good experience there the time before. In fact as we turned the corner in the car into their street,...

We spent 4 nights in this Casa Particular in Trinidad. The location is very good because it is really near to the tourists sights of the city and the sea is just 15 minutes far by taxi. The owners are very nice and careful at tourists requests. They suggests every kind of tour and how to move around the city....

It was a very pleasant stop. Globally this escapade to Trinidad in this house is a very good memory(souvenir). We were a group of 9 persons and were very well welcomed. do not hesitate to ask your hosts of the advice(councils) for strolls. And to have dinner at their home(with them), Ricardo is a very good cook and all the...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Our (Hostal,Casa) is very easily recognizable by its imposing lion's head on the main wall outside and very well located: near the city center (Place de Cespedes 300 meters) and 5 minutes walk from the historic center of the old city (Plaza Mayor 600 meters). We are very discreet and we will do everything to make you feel at home. We prepare foods with very good quality products that are always fresh (fish, shellfish, vegetables, fruits Etc...Etc...). There are three comfortable rooms that are well equipped (air conditioning, hot water, LCD) in addition to being quiet and very clean. Private terrace with superb view across the city. ... more   less
