The hostal itself is fine, but having agreed the room for 30 CUC, the hostal owner pressed us strongly to have not only breakfast (5 CUC p. p., which seems to be normal but a lot for Cuba) but also dinner within the casa. If she wants this to be compulsory, then she needs to state it initially and not...

Nice garden but a predatory atmosphere. We had booked with Sonia for a week, but we arrived late on the first night and she had apparently double-booked, so we were shuttled to a neighbor that was less cleanly, and had a very noisy air-conditining that kept us awake all night. During our stay at Sonia's, she made us feel guilty...

We stayed with Sonia & Norberto for three nights during our trip to Cuba at the beginning of December 2014. They have two units each with its own toilet/bathroom. The great attraction of staying with Norberto and Sonia is their hospitality, friendliness, being able to enjoy Norberto's cuisine as he is a very good cook and also the excellent freshly...

The location of this Casa is ideal for visiting both Trinidad and the nearby beaches. The shower was warm and there was storage space for our rucksacks in the room. The room was clean and light. We enjoyed sitting in the beautiful garden for breakfast. Breakfast was wonderful and Sonia's son very friendly. There was space to park the car...

The casa is in a beautifull garden, but look out: ask for everything the price. We found 8 cuc on our bill for washing 5 pieces of clothes and 40 cuc for the breakfast. We complained and got a small discount. Anyway afterwards we fellt a bit cheated. Maybe you should drive 200 meters further. On the hill outside Gordo...

The location is good. The rooms are ok. Casa has a beautiful garden with amazing view of the sea. Big minus are the owners. Sonia tried to cheat us at the end, she added to the bill some meals which we didn't eat. She also changed lunches price. Set a price for everything (room, meals, drinks, taxi etc.) before you...

It's a very beautiful place. The garden is gorgeous, it's quiet and the view to the see is nice too. Diner and breakfast are very good. BUT I made a reservation before going there. On the phone, they said it was 30 CUC for the room. When I arrived, Sonia said she was sorry but there was a mistake and...

A very pretty case with beautiful garden. One of the owners certainly is a gardener! Our room was nicely furnished at the front of the house with a window overlooking the front porch and another to the side. The bed although a double was 'very' cosy for my husband and I. The dinners here were good and the only choice...

On first sight we liked this little casa particulare. It has a lovely front garden overlooking the sea and a lovely rear garden with dining areas to the rear. Lovely wildlife abounds including hummingbirds, lizards and frogs. La Boca itself also seems charming on first visiting. We checked in with the nice old lady and went for a walk up...

We only stayed one night in this hostel, but if we knew before how relaxing and how nice the location is, we would have add one or two nights more. Villa Sonia is just next to the sea and has a fantastic garden backdoors, almost a little jungle with carribean plants and lots of birds. The Hostal has bikes which...

“They have two rooms to choose from: The first & larger unit is on the ground floor and is located between the lounge and kitchen although it does have a sort of outside sitting area that runs between the lounge and kitchen. The second, which is much smaller is on the second floor but its great advantage is access to the roof which allows one to use the garden furniture placed there and to enjoy views of the surrounding streets, the sunrise and sunsets. We stayed in latter, the smaller room whose disadvantage is the tiny shower and toilet just off the bedroom with no door between. Due to this I would say that this is definitely a room for established couples or single tourist only.”
