Beautiful house, well located in Trinidad. We had a huge room with two double beds and a seating area with good air con. Breakfast and dinner are lovely and served on a serene roof terrace with lots of lovely seating areas. Iris and her husband were welcoming and helpful in arranging a day trip to topes and onward travel to...

Stayed for 3 nights in (family of 5 in 2 of the rooms - one double large and spacious the other double a little on the small side). Modern and effective ACs and fans. Owners/staff helpful and friendly (esp Iris - Conrado - a schoolteacher - looks a bit of a sourpuss but is actually very sweet!) , but not...

The house is located perfectly, our room was completely renewed and had a modern AC and a wall fan, both controlled by remote. The rooms were clean and the breakfast consisted of fresh fruit, coffee, milk, fresh juice, eggs, bread, butter and some biscuits. But what made this casa differente are Iris and Conrado, with their lovely sons Diego &...

Stayed for two nights on a organised tour, very end of November 2015. Colourful room -spacious with sitting area and ensuite shower room. All clean and in working order. Good nights sleep, quiet AC. The home has several small upper terraces to relax on, one with an honesty fridge. Lovely breakfast served at the time requested on the upper terrace....

So, we booked 2 night in Trinidad in this Casa, only because we saw all these good reviews in TripAdvisor. First of all, the whole place looked really old which is acceptable in Trinidad, but it was also terribly dirty. There was this bad smell coming from inside and later we realised that it was due to some repairs the...

Hostal Valmaceda is "THE PLACE" to stay at in Trinidad for a few reasons. First, the prices are very affordable around 20 CUC a night. Then, the rooms are very clean and have access to the top roof over looking the city. On my last morning, Conrado and his wife made me breakfast, and served it to me on the...

We stayed 4 nights with Iris and Conrado and enjoyed great generous hospitality. We were a party of 3 so we used both of their rooms. The one at the top of the stairs is very roomy with 2 double beds and a little separate living room with a tv. The other room has an outdoor area with a dining...

We stayed two nights with Iris and Conrado and enjoyed wonderful hospitality. We do not speak Spanish apart from greetings and basic words (our trip was planned relatively late and we had no time to learn more) and they do not speak English but we got by very well. We were in a small room at the top of the...

This was the first casa we stayed in on our Cuban trip. We arrived off the bus in Trinidad with no booking and wondered around. We looked at a few places and were recommended Hostal Valmaceda by another casa, Milagrosa who are relatives. The house is a beautiful old colonial house on the main road into Trinidad. The room is...

Clean, nice, convenient location in heart of Trinidad (10 min away from main square by foot). Place is in Central Trinidad and good for touring around. We stayed there 3 days and room was nice and comfortable (Bed, A/C, bathroom, etc). We had breakfast there everyday and it was good. Dinner was delicious too. Conrado is a very friendly and...
