I stayed here as part of a 2 day tour from Havana and did some hiking in the area. The room was spacious enough and the beds were fine. However we were just down the hall from the front desk which I would NOT recommend. I think it was room 105? There was a bar in the lobby and we...

My tour group stayed here for two nights and it was one of the more comfortable places where we stayed in Cuba. The room is incredibly spacious, the beds comfortable, the maids very creative with their service and everything is clean and operating - a far cry from some other resorts where we stayed during our trip around the island....

much better than the one i stayed in Habana. Topes de Collantes got at least 4 waterfalls so it is worth your while to stay in this hotel for at least 3 nights. This will give you enough time to do some hiking in the area best waterfall Caburni . You can walk to Caburni and Vegas Grande. To go to...

We stayed at Los Helechos as part of a 2 day tour. We were a little bit nervous about the quality of the hotel where we would stay as part of the tour, but in the end we were pleasantly surprised. Located in the middle of the Topes de Colantes region, Los Helechos offers nice relaxing rooms where the only...

The Los Helechos Hotel is a 70ies, somehow East German style hotel in a beautiful mountainous surrounding which lowers the somewhat cold feeling the architecture breathes. However, the rooms are quiet and vary spacious. As in many other places (warm) water is only available during certain hours (from 7am in the morning). The garden and the surrounding mountains are beautiful....

We stayed here one night as part of the topes overnight tour. Arrived in the evening, check in was easy and we received a free welcome drink. One thing not to miss was the bowling alley. The rest of our tour went to bed early to rest for the next day, but took our tour guide out to the bowling...

We stayed at this hotel on an overnight excursion from Havana to Trinidad and other cities. It served its purpose, but I would have preferred staying closer to Trinidad. The hotel was OK, serving the purpose of hosting guests for one night only. The room was clean, beds good, bathroom newly renovated. But the bathroom came with no shampoo, no...

This is for a one night stop when doing an over night trip to Trinidad. Clean and food was good. ventilation in room worked. Interesting stay it felt like a hotel in the Soviet block in the 1970s so interesting for this alone. Nice people. Really interesting trip to mountains/waterfalls on russian trucks.

This is one of the best hotels we've had in Cuba. The rooms were renovated, with a small but nice and clean bathroom. The restaurant is quite good, and the best we've had in the government owned hotels. It is on walking distance of the fantastic city of Trinidad, therefore you can easily go into the city during the night.
