Three adults stayed here for 5 days in Nov., 2016. We had planned to stay 2 days but liked it so much that we extended our stay. Barbaro and Tomasa were very helpful and kind. We had excellent breakfasts and an amazing dinner, in a lovely open room with a big aquarium.. The rooftop terrace was a wonderful place to...

We arrived in Trinidad by bike from Cienfuegos, hot, dirty and stinking and as usual to be greeted with warm smiles and a helping hand. Rosa de Saron is ideally located for cyclists being away from the cobbles in an area with loads of character but only a few of blocks away from the increasingly manicured centre. Secure off road...

We stayed at Rosa de Saron for 3 nights in April. Everything about it was wonderful. Barbaro, Tomasa, and their family members were outstanding hosts. They were attentive and helpful, but also respectful of giving us our space. They specifically asked for feedback, and wanted to make sure we were comfortable. They also helped us with travel logistics, like arranging...

We were a group of 6 and 4 stayed at the Casa Hostel with the Zerquera family. We arrived by taxi mid day. Great location - walking distances to town was 5 minutes. We had two very clean spacious rooms, we had hot running water for showers with clean sheets and towels. We wanted to have an authentic Cuban meal...

Good location, close to everything in town and very friendly hosts. Good breakfasts as well. Only issue for us was we asked for help finding a casa in Habana and they didn't actually call the one they sent us to and we had problems upon our arrival (but as usual in Cuba, it all worked out fine).

What you'll get in this hostel is honest, warm hospitality but accommodation thats does not meet standards, even for Cuba. The room we stayed was badly finished, no TV or plugs and with building going on at the top at the time we stayed. The room was at the back with a small balcony we could not use (because of...

Fantastic Casa. Spacious rooms Good showers with plenty of hot water. Barbaro and Tomasa are terrific hosts, very welcoming and helpful. Amazing mojitos served on the top terrace. Excellent breakfasts and very good evening meals at a reasonable price.Hard to say which was the best room as both had something different to offer. The balcony at the front was great...

We had a great time at Casa Rosa de Saron. We stayed four nights there and were very well treated by Barbaro & Tomasita. They took care of us, showing us around and making sure we were pleased with the overall stay. When I got sick, Tomasita cooked a great soup for me to get better. Barbaro made us one...
