I was a little be weary of the shared bathroom aspect of this bed and breakfast, my expectations were met in every way! We went to DC for a Manchester United game and this was the perfect place to stay. It was a great neighborhood with lots to do and the house was spotless and we'll maintained!

What a lovely lovely place. My other half describes it as being given the keys to your rich aunt's house to crash in. The duxbury room was lovely, the bathroom was shared by the rooms but I never had to wait for it. The location is ideal. Not far from the mall and loads of lovely restaurants and bars just...

The guesthouse was fantastic for our anniversary weekend getaway. It was very easy to find, the location was perfect (we walked everywhere, its surrounded by tons of restaurants, bars, clubs, lounges, etc.), and it was a great price. The guest house itself was very nice with a lot of fun decorations, and our room was very clean and comfortable. What...

I write this review from the comfort of the Duxbury room bed. I have travelled literally the four corners of the globe and stayed in everything from expensive hotels in central London to mud huts in Nepal. And I can tell you now that this place is one of the stand out places in my mind. It's basically like your...

Big room in charming old fashion style, sharing bathroom no problem. Nice area, few minutes walk to 14th street with shops, nice cafés and restaurants. Easy access to city centre by bus or city bike. Would like to go back one day.

We stayed in the roomy Norwell suite with the lovely, large ensuite bathroom! We loved coming home to this room at the end of the day. The Neighborhood was wonderful - U Street Cafe and Ted's Bulletin for breakfast, Bistro La Bonne for mussels, Alero for great Mexican food and a margarita, Fainting Goat and Pizza& for dinners and all...

An excellent stay. We rented two of the properties rooms, the Norwell room on the third floor, and the apartment. The Norwell where I personally stayed, was really nice with a very large bathroom. Property had wireless internet that worked a block down the street. The common living room was extremely comfortable and the decorations, furnishings and extras first class....

An absolutely lovely place. We stayed here because it is cheaper than hotels on weekdays but the large hotels are priced lower on weekends. The location is not close to monuments or the metro so it depends on what you plan to do in DC. Owner/ management not on premises so it is strictly turn- key with no breakfast or...

I stayed a couple of nights in the B&B, it's extremelly convenient : a stone-throw to the underground station. Very well maintained and clean. It's not quite a B&B as the second B is not fulfilled though you reach Starbucks and a Dunkin Donnut before you're know it. Highly recommended if you're around.

I was a little unsure about a "self-hosted" accommodation at first, but getting in and out of the house was simple. I stayed in the efficiency apartment which was very comfortable and private. Accommodations were clean and well stocked. Location was convenient and the neighborhood seemed very friendly. A good place to stay.
