I showed up at 1030pm to a queue of 5 people for check-in and only 1 employee at the front desk. Typically there is a special SPG line, but this wasn't the case. I also found the parking to be extremely expensive at $59 per night and they were not willing to comp it even though I am a loyal...

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 17 January 2017

I got lucky that I was traveling to the District in the first week of the year, right after new year's, so I got a rate right around $100/night, which is low for this location. So my review is based on that kind of rate rather than $300/night or something you might see at other Westin locations in cities. But...

The location is superb and the staff are great but the rooms are 'standard' and the breakfast is simply sad. The coffee is possibly the worst I've had so perhaps that is why a Starbucks does amazing trade downstairs.

Have stayed here several times while visiting daughter. Good central location, convenient walking distance to restaurants and attractions, 3 blocks to Metro station. Fast elevators. Top notch, friendly and accommodating multinational staff. Rooms are well maintained with Westin standard Heavenly beds and luxe bedding. Tip - rooms facing inward to atrium are very quiet.

Attended a conference at the DC Westin and enjoyed my stay. You can easily take the Metro from the Reagan Airport to the McPherson Square, walk a few blocks, and you are there. I found the staff friendly and helpful. Nice to also be in downtown DC.

See attached picture. Kraft Mac and cheese at grocery store is like a dollar. And it tastes better. $40 seems very excessive. Lol. Would not recommend. Stay somewhere else if you can. This is my second stay at this hotel. Not coming back. It's a shame for the Westin brand.

Stayed here for 4 nights and 5 days for business. Room was #427. It was a fine room, clean but not super up to date. Cannot have shades open as it looks over lobby and into other rooms. No full length mirror. No bathroom fan with a slow drain. The worst part of this room is it is connected to...

I've been a big fan of Westins but this one was disappointing: -- Attitude of staff was not friendly or service-oriented. -- Difficult to contact room service. Called Service Express, put on hold for 3 min. Front desk answered, switched me to In-Room Dining, put on hold for 2 min. Then the line was disconnected. -- Room is smaller than...

The location is right in the middle of the city. Close to a Metro stop (McPherson Square) so you can ditch the car and go. Easy walking location. Quiet neighborhood. CVS and Food around the corner. Room was clean and decent size. Staff was great. Made the short stay worth it. Will go back again.

Valet parking at the hotel is $50-$60 per night. I would recommend using any of the parking lots near the hotel which are a lot less expensive or finding street parking.

Yes there are. Also the breakfast at the hotel is very good as well as the buffet. If you join Starwood and get the AMEX card, you could eat for free at breakfast. Lots of bagel shops nearby and MickeyD
