All aspects of this hotel are perfect. It is not overly sophisticated but the entire staff is friendly, caring and anxious to serve. The rooms are delightful and spotlessly clean. Food is delicious. Beautiful spa and nice workout facilities and indoor pool. Lovely private garden attached to the cocktail lounge. Mandarins never disappoint.

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

I had the recent pleasure of staying at the Mandarin Oriental, attending a conference it was hosting. I have previously stayed at its Las Vegas and Boston establishments. Check-in was efficient and very friendly, with the employee taking the trouble to accompany me to the lift. Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast choice was very good. All the housekeeping staff...

Dear haydndavies2016, Thank you very much for your five star review of Mandarin Oriental, Washington DC. We couldn't agree with you more: its the genuine care and concern of our colleagues that really distinguishes the Mandarin Oriental experience. Of course, our location is great, too, and I would add that an even shorter walk in the other direction will take...

We stayed overnight in a club level deluxe room and we very much enjoyed our stay. Service was attentive and friendly. Beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the club level which provided access to the lounge with breakfast, snacks and drinks all day, and coffee and tea. Made it easier to grab something to tide us over. But very pretty,...

I recently stayed at the Mandarin Oriental in Washington for the fourth time. As with each stay, the staff were excellent, strove to meet every need, and the accommodations were very nice. In addition, the hotel is located close to the Smithsonian, National Mall, the White House and Capital.

The Mandarin is a wonderful hotel in the most beautiful part of the city. Worth the expense but don't park your car $55 per night for parking is way too high. The rest is a given...a wonderful experience overall - great food - great room - comfortable beds and amenities are awesome.

My husband and I visited the original flagship Mandarin Oriental in Hong Kong decades ago, and were delighted by its sleek Asian style, authentic Chinese cuisine, and understated hospitality. We thought its contemporary incarnation in Washington DC would carry on the tradition. Alas, now that Mandarin Oriental is a worldwide franchise, things have changed. I don’t think I have ever...

Very great time. First class treatment. You will pay for it, but it is worth it. Everything from Jasmine tea at check in, to being called by my name at Muze, to the high quality rooms. I wish I had the time to do the spa!

This hotel is a true delight from the beauty of the building, it's position by the river and close to the center of the downtown area and airport, the very spacious and beautifully decorated rooms, very pleasant bar and lounge area, and nice gardens to relax in. What really made my stay special was the friendliness and helpfulness of all...
