The Watergate hotel was recently opened. It is one of the most gorgeous hotels I have ever stayed in. The design is spectacular, very modern and tasteful. The service is outstanding, and the food is extraordinary. The location is super central. I would definitely recommend staying at the Watergate Hotel.

Who hasn't heard of Watergate? It's worth a visit just to connect with history. This hotel is in a great location on the Potomac and walking distance to The Mall and clearly been recently remodeled to be perhaps one of the most 21st century-modern hotels in the world without quite abandoning its 60's architecture. There are doormen in top coats...

This is a very chic hotel and the designer did a great job with the recent renovations. The staff is friendly and polite however it is not quite up to 5 star standards (no turn down service for example). The hotel itself is in a nondescript location, but Georgetown is very close walking distance, and the National Mall is a...

Stayed for a weekend visit to Washington. Staff were wonderful and very helpful. The hotel is beautifully renovated by designer Ron Arad. We stayed on the 12th floor and had a great view of the Potomac River from our balcony. Our room was well-appointed and had a super comfy bed. The rooftop bar offers nice views, drink were around $16...

Stayed in the hotel for a week on a business trip. The hotel has a history and has been recently renovated. Work is in progress in certain areas. A formal business hotel which has a great location just near all the city attractions. A bit expensive though.

See and be seen in the restaurant's casual portion, where you can soak in views of the Potomac River from an outdoor terrace, or enjoy the refined elegance of Washington's heyday in its more formal dining setting.
