Excellent stay. The fromt desk was extremely helpful and very pleasant. We will definitely come back. One area you may improve upon is the lighting in the public spaces on the first floor. I could not find a place where the lighting was at a level high enough for reading you complementary newspaper.

Pleasant staff. Nice patio. We had two rooms, one was as advertised on their website, the other not so. Wine & cheese each night a nice amenity. Great showers and decent beds. Clean. Will likely stay here again.

The staff members are awesome! They took good care of us. The hotel is in a great location. We loved the Wine and cheese hour. The kids enjoyed playing games in the lobby. I liked the ice cold water that was available after a long walk around the city.

This is a beautiful, small hotel to use as a home base for your Washington D.C. adventures. If you require on-site activities and great views out your window, this is not the place for you. But this hotel is surrounded by the great restaurants and jazz clubs of DuPont Circle; a short walk to Adams Morgan, and U Street corridor....

Boutique style hotel. Rooms were small but clean and cutely decorated. Great location, walking distance to bars and restaurants of Adams Morgan district. Wine and cheese happy hour. Reasonably priced European style breakfast buffet.

Bed was a queen and very confortable The nicest part was we were staying 0.1 of a mile from the Washington Hilton were all our meetings were for $.121.00 a night...

We love this hotel and have stayed here several times. The staff is so nice and friendly, and we love that they serve free wine and cheese at 5:00. The hotel is older, so the rooms are smaller and not uniform, but they are updated and clean, as are the bathrooms. The only negative we've experienced is the high heat...

My husband and 12-year-old daughter visited D.C. for a long weekend and wanted an inexpensive hotel with some charm, and in a pretty neighborhood off the tourist-beaten path. We found it in the Normandy! It's located between Dupont Circle and Kalorama, in a wonderful neighborhood chock-full of restaurants, shops, historic town homes and grand embassies. 10-minute walk to the Dupont...

The staff were very helpful with our small children. They were also very friendly. Enjoy an evening walk, the surrounding area was beautiful and we felt very safe. We would highly recommend the Normandy for family stays in the DC area.

I truly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. I have stayed in several hotels in the city throughout the years, and this hotel was one of the best in terms of being located in a great location and for a great value (I booked through Hotwire). I arrived early in the morning and the staff got me into my room...
