Came into DC for a three day weekend trip. Picked this location because of its proximity to restaurants we wanted to try during the Winter DC Restaurant Week. Red Line Metro is within an eleven minute walk. The only downside about our stay was that we had one of those rooms that had a shared door between them and one...

Thanks so much for staying at the Beacon Hotel. We hope you had some delicious meals during restaurant week and were able to take advantage of our own Beacon Bar & Grill's specials. We look forward to seeing you on your next trip to D.C, summer restaurant week is just around the corner!

My girlfriend and I traveled to D.C this past July and we selected this hotel based upon location (as it was close to a red line metro station). Our room was nice and clean and had an excellent view of Downtown D.C. The staff was friendly and helpful at the hotel as well. The only complaint that I particularly have...

after a three hour trip into D.C., my boyfriend were rejected from another hotel due to our age. i won't elaborate on that but it left me extremely stressed out. After multiple phone calls trying to figure out our refund, i quickly found the beacon hotel which was very reasonably priced. I booked the deluxe queen and headed right over....

If I could give this 0 stars I would. The management is incompetent and insulting. I booked a queen bed for me and my girlfriend. They gave us a double. The manger was a real jerk about it. So I spoke to the general manager. I measured the bed, it was 54" wide by 74", which by definition is a...

I booked this based on location and pictures I had seen on line. The pictures must have been of an updated area because our room was nothing like the pictures. Wallpaper peeling off the walls, kitchenette needed updated and bathroom sink cold water would not turn on. It just seemed very dingy and out of date. It was ok, but...

From the moment I walked in the door, you could tell the hotel was badly in need of a remodel. Everything about the place is fairly depressing. I got there an hour before the restaurant attached to the hotel was supposed to close, but they just decided to shut down early for the evening. The room I got was badly...

Arrived in the morning but my room wasn't ready so they held my bag and called me on my cell phone a few hours later when the room was ready. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The room size was decent. I was on the 9th floor so didn't hear a lot of street noise. It was only...

We slept next to a sort of conference room on the 5th floor, and woke up two mornings in a row at 5 AM from loud voices of a group of people who were having a morning meeting. During the two nights we stayed there, there was generally quite a lot of noise in the hallways. Not the hotel's fault...

A very enjoyable stay at the Beacon Hotel with access to lots of restaurants nearby and handy for my meetings. The room as very comfortable and quiet. One quibble, I did find the shower water only little above tepid which surprised me.

Went to DC for a quick hockey weekend, and couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Location was perfectly set in a quite and cozy location but still close enough to walk everywhere. The room was so spacious with every amenity and more, I almost wished that I had brought different shoes just to use the shoe shiner...
