Stayed at The Fairfax at Embassy Row for two nights, A very pleasurable experience. The staff from the moment we entered the hotel were fantastic. The room was very comfortable. The Grille is great for a drink and supper and the breakfast offered in the morning was delicious. After our stay, my daughter realized that she left her necklace in...

It is such a wonderful feeling to know that we exceeded your expectations in every way. It was our pleasure to assist in returning your necklace, we know how upsetting it can be when personal items get left behind. Thank you so much for your fabulous review of our staff and services. I recently spent 5 nights at the Fairfax, and it was great. The hotel was sparkling clean, tastefully updated, and very charming. My room was quiet, the bed very comfortable, lots of pillows. The helpful desk staff told me wi-fi was free if I signed up for their loyalty program, so I did, and saved $13/day. The location, 2 blocks...

This hotel is a 1920 charming hotel. The hotel has a small reception area. Lots of marble and dark woods give it the european air. The same for the bar area and dining room. The staff, to a person, was the friendliest I have run across through many hotels stays. The rooms were rather small but very nice. There was...

Stayed at The Fairfax for the inauguration. Stunning hotel, great location, clean and spacious rooms. Staff was courteous and most helpful. Took advantage of nearby dining and unique bookstores. The hotel lounge has great burgers!

I booked a room with 2 beds using Chase Preferred points. When I checked in I was told that there were no doubles left and priority is given to those booking directly through the hotel and 3rd party reservations are considered last. I was told I could have the sofa sleeper made up or I could get a cot but...

We spent 6 nights here over the inaugural week and it was a really good choice. DuPont Circle metro is 2 mins walk, both P Street and Connecticut Ave, the two adjacent streets have dozens of restaurant options and the fabulous Phillips Collection is right across the street. The hotel was busy because of the inauguration, but the staff were...

Lovely old style hotel. Friendly staff. Rooms reasonably priced. Small gym but has everything you need. Great location close to a DuPont. Loads of restaurants nearby. I marked the hotel as quaint which it was except for a noisy bunch of young people who were staying on our floor in the 5-6 rooms after ours. It was New Year's Eve...

We went to DC to visit family and our daughter, who's in college there. We found a great deal for The Fairfax, a 4 star hotel. I was a little skeptical, as it was a great deal. We were so surprised how fabulous the hotel really was!!!! First, the staff was extraordinary, from the doorman to the bellman, to the...

I visited this hotel last week. The property is more for a short stay in town. It's clean with nice rooms and basic amenities. If you're looking for a clean place to stay, the hotel will meet your need. It's in a good location as well. There's a bar and grille with friendly bar tenders. Other than that, there's nothing...
