I was pleased with my stay at the Fairfax. My room was clean and functional. The staff, friendly and attentive. The building, located just off downtown DC's main drag, was easy to locate, even with this being my first trip to the city. I experienced no problems during my stay. As far as amenities, I only made use of the...

Sadly, this is the last night of our stay at this wonderful property. A very unassuming driveway sits in front of the hotel where a doorman greets you and opens the door to a quaint reception area. A 2-person check-in desk to one side, the bell desk on the other side. Up a short flight to the elevators, the café,...

I was in DC to attend a conference and stayed at the Fairfax because the conference hotel was full. I chose the Fairfax because it was within walking distance to where I needed to be and there were many, many choices of great places to eat. It is also about a 35 min walk to the White House and national...

We are Starwood Gold members so when needing to stay in the area, we always look for a Starwood hotel. I was excited to find a Luxury Collection hotel to try it out. If it hadn't been labeled luxury I probably would have given it a 4 but giving it 3 since it was labeled luxury. It is a nice...

This is the hotel where we stay when we are in D.C. The service is great and has been reliable for many years now. People know you when you come back - I like that. The bar has good food. It is an elegant, classy hotel with great rooms and suites in a nice part of town.

Hotel is in a great location, relatively close to DuPont Circle. Staff was very friendly, hotel was clean and quiet and we had an undisturbed night's sleep on a comfortable Westin-style bed. Would definitely consider staying here again.

Stayed for a little less than a week here. The Fairfax is a charming combination of luxury and cozy warmth. The rooms were comfortable and beautifully appointed, and the service was great. This really is a gem of a hotel - refined, elegant, full of old world charm and character. It has the feel of the very best luxury boutique hotels.
