Spent a week doing college tours and checked in at Kimpton Glover on a weeknight because we wanted to tour American and George Washington. Lovely guy called Jack was working at check in. We had just missed the free wine tasting by fifteen minutes (5-6 pm) but he said he would be happy to find me a complimentary glass of...

Spent one night here with my teenage daughter during our college tours this week, and truly enjoyed our experience at the Kimpton Glover Park! It's clean, trendy, and has easy access to Georgetown and AU. The service was very friendly and helpful. The valet is expensive, as to be expected in DC, but our car came out quickly when we...

Kimpton Glover Park Hotel doesn't embrace diversity/foreigner/immigrants. My wife and I checked in on 1/19/17-1/23/17 and a condescending white male working at the front desk, turned us away claiming that our room wasn't ready. But other white guests wearing expensive clothes were promptly escorted into their rooms. We went downstairs looking for a Manager and spoke with Denise the Housekeeping...

Dear Negricillo M, I am so sorry that this was the perception you were left with of our hotel, please accept my sincere apologies. It is very concerning to us all that you felt this way based on your experience, again I am very sorry. Please know that we absolutely do not discriminate against anyone. We are a family made...

This is a nice Kimpton property with a great restaurant attached. On Wisconsin at the top of the hill in a neighborhood with a great view. Close to Whole Foods and all the restaurants and shops. Walking distance to National Cathedral, Embassy Row, Mass Ave, Naval Observatory. Not close to metro but a short uber or taxi ride to anywhere....

Great boutique hotel. Easy to get to all of Georgetown from this location. Our king size room was larger than most hotels. Unfortunately our room had an adjoining door that allowed us to hear the folks next door. The gym facilities were some the best I have ever seen in a hotel. Full service restaurant was available but we only...

Great to hear that you enjoyed your experience so much that you will be back! I agree that the size of our rooms, our location in upper Georgetown, and the fact that we have amazing amenities like Casolare restaurant from acclaimed chef Michael Schlow and the Urban Athletic Fitness club on site really help set us apart. Until next time,...

We've stayed in 4-5 Kimpton Hotels in DC, and the new Glover Park outpost was really perfect for us. The room was big, bright and clean with comfortable beds. And while it is modern, the hotel was incredibly kid friendly. From a toy chest at check in, to a loaner stroller, and hot cocoa at the wine hour, our little...

I booked this hotel for a reasonable price, expecting it to be nice, but rather bland. I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel restaurant and bar was delicious, everything was tastefully appointed, and the shuttle driver, Anthony, went above and beyond to help us get to various destinations throughout the city. While this hotel is rated three stars, I felt that...

Thank you for staying with us, and for taking the time to share your comments here. We really appreciate it! I'm glad the team did such a good job welcoming your son and got you in the room early. I do apologize however that the bathroom felt cold and the shade system on the window was not set up properly....

This was a quick business trip and let me tell you I'm so glad I found this great hotel! It was about a 7 min Uber to the White House and was in a great area with great restaurants. Not as glad as we are that you found us! Thank you so much for your business!! Totally agree on the Orrechiete Pasta dish at Casolare Restaurant, although the Chitarra Pasta dish may be even better. You will have to come back and try it! Thank you again and safe travels, Matt

We stayed at this hotel while in D.C. for the Women's March. It was completely full, yet for the most part everything went smoothly. We had two rooms, which were spotless, and the beds were very comfortable. The complimentary wine served in the early evening was actually very good! They had a little problem with the elevators not working consistently...

Thank you for choosing us for your trip to DC! It was quite a busy weekend, and the energy in the hotel was really great.
