We were here for the Garden State Inaugural Ball. The theme was jersey shore with a game room, chips, games of chance and a buffet that featured disco fries, boardwalk fries, Taylor ham egg sandwiches, carving stations and other assorted bites. The ballroom was transformed to a red white and blue theme with band and appearance from Noe Piscopo. The...

You can't beat the location just steps from the capital building. The hotel itself is nothing special. They just provide the basics and the rooms are in poor shape. The room darkening drapes has holes in it and the bathroom needs a good cleaning.

I understand it's inauguration and it's 3 blocks from the Capitol. When you're charging my employer a nightly rate that's dangerously close to needing a comma, some basic amenities are assumed that you would at least find in an average roadside business hotel. Such as free in room WiFi and in room coffee. This is my 3rd stay at this...

Worst customer service experience I have ever received from hotel reservations. And do not get this confused with the 1800 reservations # for reservations off site. This was the reservations staff directly thru the hotel. No customer service skills whatsoever. If I'm gonna pay that much to stay somewhere, the staff should not act like they are inconvenienced by their...

This hotel met my expectations with regards to accommodations. They are in the process of renovations as of 01-2017 so I did not get to experience the bar and lobby area as they were under construction. My room was solid but not amazing, the bed was very comfortable. I also had good views of the city being on the top...

I've stayed here at least 4 times over the years and it's really a great hotel. This particular visit wasn't my most favorite as there were a few little things that annoyed me - but nothing egregious. The gift shop and bar were closed (they are under construction). Also, when I called for room service around 10:30pm on a Saturday...

To be honest, I am a bit surprised to see so many mixed reviews on this property. Please note that the hotel is currently undergoing a bit of a remodel, which is where many of the negative comments are coming from. During this time the restaurant and lobby bar are not open, but there are plenty of choices nearby the...

Was there for four nights. Very convenient. Hotel was under a remodel. There was no restaurant available in the hotel because of the remodel. Luckily there are eating establishments nearby. Very clean with a friendly staff, especially the doormen.

I stayed at the Washington Court Hotel NYE. Part of rhe lobby was under construction & looked a bit unsafe. The room was comfortable....with the exception of the toilet not working properly. Also the telephone in the room did not work. Not sure if I would stay here again...it wouldn't be my first choice.
