Exactly what you would expect a historic first class DC hotel to be. Beautiful, tastefully furnished, very good service. I'm a gal, so here are some of my top priorities that the Willard met: Lighted magnifying makeup mirror and good bathroom lighting. Full length mirror on the bathroom door that can be positioned in such a way that you can...

Reviewing the Willard seems superfluous, considering its location and history. The surprise here is not that the Willard is a wonderful place to stay, but that it is comfortable and inviting. The renovation has only enhanced the history. The lobby proudly displays the past, while the staff is up to every standard one expects from a hotel with this reputation....

A beautiful historic hotel - the hotel is old but had been well cared for. The rooms were wonderful - beautiful fit-out. Clean, spacious and comfortable. The restaurants were wonderful - a great dinner and breakfast. Thank you!

I love sitting at a window seat in the old world bar with a glass of champagne watching the world go by. And always fun to invite friends for the high tea. Opulent entry foyer - not only beautiful but offering, impeccable, gracious service. The rooms do not disappoint - spacious and well outfitted. Perfect location for theatre, restaurants, and...

Had a farewell dinner at the Occidental Grill on our last night in DC. They are right next door to the legendary Willard Hotel. After dessert we ventured next door to check out the digs and the hotel was absolutely stunning. The staff at the front desk kept to themselves when our large group walked in. No one bothered us...

The Round Bar is a must for a cocktail in DC. The bar is small, but full of history as it dates back to the Civil War. The bartenders are as seasoned as the bar, and take great pride in not only crafting your cocktails, but also in the presentation. The key is it is so low key.

I have to say that the suite I had was beautiful right next to the Grant Suite. The hotel staff were very nice and accommodating. But the rucus in the Grant Suite made sleeping impossible. Along with a heavy dose of Hispanic music playing on the radio outside my bedroom door. I was there for 4 nights and I got...

Dear Ronald D, Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your recent stay. I am disappointed to see that you did not have the best sleep experience throughout your stay due to the loud music and I sincerely apologize that this occurred. After seeing how beautiful the hotel was when I went here for brunch a couple weeks ago, I decided to book a room as a surprise for mine and my girlfriend's anniversary. I told the front desk that it was our anniversary prior to checking in and that it was going to be a surprise for my girlfriend that we...

A great 4 star hotel that is close to 5 with a few simple upgrades. The Willard offers great service, high tea, fantastic bars and restaurants. It is an attraction all by itself and a stop for the site seeing buses. Close to everything you'll enjoy your time in DC and be proud to tell anyone you're at the Willard.

We stayed here around the holidays last year and loved the gigantic beautifully-decorated tree in the lobby. The restaurants are pricy but good and offers lots of great food for kids too. Can't wait to stay there again!
