The Willard is a Washington institution. Very historic and just amazing architecture. Its just around the corner from the Whitehouse and well placed for some great walking tours of the capitol We managed to get a junior suite which was enormous and beautifully furnished. The entire hotel is built in a very grand manner and the service and embellishments match....

I was eager to stay at the Willard given its history and central location. It did not disappoint. From the friendly concierge to the spacious rooms, this is one of the nicest places to stay in DC. The room was nicely updated. Even had an iron and board. I will return.

The staff were welcoming and friendly (not always so in DC!) and, although our room was a little tired, the experience was good. Bar was fun later in the evening. Perfect location for sightseeing in DC.

We had a mini suite which was very comfortable. The location could not be better as it is only a stones throw from the White House. The Hotel is very much of the high standard that you would expect from the InterContinental brand and it certainly enhanced our enjoyment of this stunning city. What a place to come back to...

When we arrived at the Willard the valet and bell staff was great. Having never been there they explained everything we needed to do for the parking and check in. They were very busy but made us feel very welcome. Check in staff was very nice also and we upgraded to a suite that was beautiful. Total luxury. On the...

Just checked out from one of my worst hotel experiences in recent memory. Took my elderly mom to DC and got two rooms -- one for her and one for me. Reserved a deluxe view room for her. When we get to check-in, I ask the hotel desk for a walk-in shower (which I am not sure that the Willard...

Really enjoyed our stay at the Willard. It's a quick walk to the Metro (which gives you access to the Kennedy Center and other interesting areas) so the location is super. Our room was very large by most standards and nicely furnished. Parking is very expensive ($50 per night) but is probably reasonable by D.C. standards. I did think charging...

Spent a night at the Willard to make for easier attendance at a wedding downtown. Decent corporate rate via my company, so not expensive, but overall a very mediocre experience. We were assured an early check-in when we called 45 minutes before arrival (since we live so close), but when we arrived they said the room wasn't ready - they...
