Fun, woke hotel theme. Breakfast was great and rooftop was relaxing. Staff very attentive. Would recommend to others as also in a central location making it easy to walk almost everywhere. Will be back just to go up to the rooftop again at the very least.
We had an amazing experience in this modern and authentic hotel. We loved the décor, full of art and powerful, moving messages about women's rights and civil rights. The rooftop bar and pool area was a bonus and a nice surprise, with beautiful views of the city, authentic drinks, and great music. Our room was extremely clean and comfortable, also with beautiful views of the city. Everything was just perfect! Kudos to the staff for the amazing service 👏
All went well - only difficulty was erratic internet connection in my room. This visit included a reception on the roof-top, and meeting in conference room for +-200 participants. Staff did great work with set-up and logistical assistance.
Everyone is my party were more than satisfied with the Beryl's expertise and professionalism. Beryl was extremely helpful and gave us many insights regarding the Washington, DC events and areas. Due to meeting Beryl, Hotel Zena will now be in my evoked set of hotels stays in the Washington DC area. I'm from Baltimore, Maryland, but frequent to hang out for work and hang out with my friends in the political field in DC. The room was exquisite, the ambience was amazing, and the location could not be better. Beryl was just so personable and down to earth. Since, I hang out in DC hotels frequently, you usually don't meet down to earth people in many hotel chains. However, I recommend Beryl every time from now on out!
Besides being hosted by professional and nice staff, this chic-unique-boutique hotel has three main attractions that you can experience next time when you're in the downtown DC area. 1. A rooftop with pool overlooking the DMV area 2. They have their very own multi art gallery with awe-inspiring pieces commemorating some of our most powerful Sheroes of influence in American history. We were even given a complimentary tour from the hotel's own manager; shout out & thanks to Ms. Charlene!! 3. The food. Everyone ordered different menu items that were all scrumptious and left us filled like an entree in the guise of an appetizer. This hotel is a definite stay! 👍🏼
This hotel is too notch all thee way around. From check in to check out we felt welcomed and enjoyed the experience. Beryl at the front desk increased the wonderful experience with her kind and super helpful attitude. Always greeting us with a compliment and a smile. The valet staff were just as kind. Prompt service with a smile. The hotel is unique, clean, and we loved the women's equality spread throughout. The rooftop lounge and interior lounge were great as well. We really enjoyed our stay in room 215 and will make this our home away from home when in the area.❤️
Excellent room well organized with a lot of storage and interesting shower. The staff made us feel welcome as they were very accommodating. There was bars but we could not find an open restaurant in the hotel.. This hotel is a little far from museums.
Service was amazing everyone was so kind and helpful, from the bar to the front desk. The bathroom seemed fun and funky until nighttime, if you turned the light on it would make the entire space bright because of the setup of the shower being a frosted glass. Also, the hotel seems to be having some kind of sewage issue. The elevators and entrance constantly smelled of sewage. Also, the pillows were very large so you woke up with a neck ache
Road in front of the hotel is very noisy, even with a room at the 10th floor Welcome is not very warmful Room service menu is not enough diversified Location is very good Room is comfortable Room is very clean
Hotel Zena is now my goto hotel in DC for weekend getaways!! The view from our room was amazing. Staff was professional and accomodating. They made us feel like we were old friends. Figleaf Brunch was excellent. Almost ordered two dishes.
