The staff was very good. They had a very good breakfast... I would recommend you getting there early. The rooms were very nice and very spacious. A very new and clean motel. Parking was good and a great steak place right beside it. A little...More
While many Hilton Garden Inn ( HiGI ) locations are trending in the wrong direction ( largely because of those darn "adjustable firmness" mattresses that all seem to sag badly to the middle ) ... that is NOT the case here at all. Clearly a...More
Clean, friendly. Great value in quaint college town. We traveled to attend an Auburn swim camp. It was a short drive into town. Breakfast was excellent and worth the stay each morning. We will definitely return to this hotel.

I would look into a rental. The area outside of any major city between Atlanta and Opelika/Auburn area is very rural and even the indigenous people are very dependent on private transportation. There is Uber and Lyft in the Atlanta area and I would check into a rental verses using Uber or Lyft. But it also depends on the nature of your trip, how long you are going to be there, and how much traveling you have to do during the trip. Since I used to live in the area, I usually drive so I can have private transportation.
