We went to the Wine tasting experience and just had the best time! Bruma is a boutique winery, where design is at the forefront and their wines have character! We really loved Diana’s explanation and passion for what she does. Lovely lovely experience! Will come back 100%! <3

Looking for recommendations, this was one of the few places with everything well organised. From booking to payment method, the quality of this place started with the first call and their pristine customer care.
Dinner was at the terrace, however, everything was under control with long-lasting high power heaters that kept us warm and off from our jackets the whole time.
Multi-course delicious gourmet dinner and wine coupling, open bar and party with DJ made this the best New Year party ever, would definitely repeat and invite more friends!

LOVED our stay at Bruma Casa Montana! It has all the nicest finishing touches/details that make a fancy hotel feel worth it. We had a chef make us breakfast at the house daily and ate with a view of the vineyard in front of the pool.
The staff at the house were incredible, setting up fire pits for us, helping make the house our home.
Cant say enough good thing about this stunning hotel!

My wife and I looked forward to wine tasting at Bruma, especially after seeing a Food and Wine article entitled “The World’s Most Stunning Wineries,” gushed about it. For a relatively new venture, that’s an impressive accolade.
The grounds of the winery, adjacent to the hotel of the same name and restaurant, Fauna, are beautifully designed and compliment the local environment and terrain. After checking in at the gate, where our reservation was confirmed and our temperature taken, we drove to the parking lot. After self parking, an employee, wearing a face covering, led us to the wine tasting area. At the entrance of the wine tasting area we were asked to wash our hands with soap and water in artfully designed outdoor sinks. Once inside we had our temperature taken again as well as a pulse oximetry reading. Our English speaking guide, who was also wearing a mask (although often below his nose or like a chinstrap), gave us a quick tour and then took us to the wine tasting area. The tour included showing several elaborate artworks, for sale like a gallery as opposed to art for the sake of art, like a museum. The wine tasting room is impressive, maybe over the top. It isn’t, however, an inviting or particularly welcoming set up. The four wines we tasted included a rose (subtle, clean but a relatively high ABV for a rose at 13%), a chardonnay (crisp, reflecting stainless steel fermentation), a red blend (Plan B, our favorite and moderately priced at 350 pesos) and the top of the line cabernet sauvignon (nowhere near ready to drink without more time in the bottle and not well priced). The presentation of the wines was partly informative and partly a play for a generous tip. After buying a bottle of Plan B, we looked around the restaurant, Fauna and it looks charming. Maybe we’ll dine there another time. When we returned to our car, I gave a small tip, 20 pesos, to the parking area attendant. He wasn’t impressed and asked for 100 pesos (about $5). He didn’t park the car or direct me to the parking spot so I was a bit annoyed. I was also out of efectivo so he was out of luck.
There is a quality spectrum of wines in Valle de Guadalupe. Some well established wineries, like Monte Xanic, have slowly morphed from modest places to impressive and artistic facilities with wine to match. Even relatively modest places, such as Mogor Badan, have high quality wines that are ready to enjoy now. I would have expected Bruma’s wealth of positive press to translate to a better quality product. Maybe with time it will. For “one of the most stunning wineries in the world,” it is a bit of an empty suit. Pushing sales of expensive art, over-performing for tips and specifying how big my parking lot tip ought to be we’re all inconsistent with a quality experience.

Extremely disappointed. For almost two weeks we were trying to make reservations, calling, emailing, sending messages on their website and I barely got a response one day prior, we were excited and decided to give them a try.
You must know they only have a handful different wines and only 2 are red.
We walked in there, they give you a little explanation of the winery and the wines but the tasting is literally only 10 minutes, they rush you to get out and get more people in, the entire experience is less than 30 minutes seriously?.
Nowhere to sit, you are just standing and they keep pushing you to get out of there, come on, for $30 USD, give me some time!.
The wines are mediocre, keep in mind there are so many wineries in valle with better prices and much better wine, and and they won't push you to leave!.
We rush our wine because there was a huge group walking in and it got packed in there. I thought they will keep a limit because of covid restrictions but clearly they don't care.
We walked out and I decided to purchase a bottle and drink it outside since we couldn't stay any longer inside, they sent us back to the front desk, we paid for a bottle, then they asked us to wait until the lady charge everyone on a large party, what the heck!, They made us wait over 20 minutes in order to receive our bottles, and when we finally got them, they didn't want to give us glasses, are you serious!.
In the meantime the huge group of people, around 20 not exaggerating being serviced VIP, they kept saying hey know Lulu witch is the owner, or the winemaker whatever...
So they made us rush our tour and out tasting and they also made us wait ridiculous amount of time in order to give lulu's friends a much better service???, But we paid the same!. So annoying, frustrating. Never going back, wouldn't recommend this place!.

We have stayed at Bruma before and it is a lovely property. We planned another trip for April 2020 and pre-booked in December. Due to COVID and travel restrictions we had to cancel our trip. The hotel initially said they would refund the money, minus fees, but has instead given us the run around. Continuing to delay the refund until later when they have income coming in again. While I understand everyone is struggling, it doesn't excuse not refunding a deposit. We have contacted them many times and are now just disputing the charge with our credit card company. Beware of this hotel and it's refund policy if you pre-book.

I don’t even want to tell you how lovely Bruma is but everyone has been so kind that we must share our exquisite experience. It’s a little confusing figuring out how to check in, (follow the signs to Casa 8 where Susan and Pierre will give you a tour and guide you to your room or suite. Casa Montaña offers magnificent views of the valley below and its eco-rustic lodging is FABULOUS! Four rooms share a great room with kitchen, living room, and lovely deck with sun loungers and a warm disappearing edge pool and spa. The always-pleasant ladies here are happy to serve and prepare delicious breakfasts from yogurt and fresh fruit to chilaquiles, omelets, your preferred egg preparation, bacon, muffins, etc… and if you’re hungry at any other time of day they will put together yum burritos, quesadillas, guacamole, et al. I wanted to take them home! (the ladies not the food.) Fauna, one of Valle’s finest restaurants is just a walkway from your room. This place is just a pure pleasure splurge.

Room Tip: Book in Casa Montaña… and dress casually. Valle is quite dry and a bit dusty.

I visited the Valle of Guadalupe in March 2020, and stayed in Bruma. Had a couple of nice meals in the hotel. Even though the experience was nice, when you put the price tag into it , I find it a very bad quality regarding price and benefit. If you are in excess of cash go for it, if not , maybe have second thoughts of visiting.

Food from Fauna was a 10++. Villas were perfect and staff was plentiful and hospitable. Fauna catered the wedding we attended while the ceremony was held near CasaOcho under an enormous tree. All in all, a perfect venue.

I need a shirt that reads, "Wake me up when I'm back at Bruma." From the moment we arrived on property, we were transported to another dimension. Olive trees line the long, dirt road leading you off the highway, away from your problems,] and towards the peaceful, incredibly scenic retreat that is Casa Ocho. We were greeted by Daniella, who did an excellent job of orienting us to the property and making us feel right at home. We were celebrating a special occasion and Daniella went out of her way to make sure we felt cared for and that the trip was commemorative. We spent just one night at Bruma this time around but hope to return as soon as possible for more of the world renown wine and food, incredible hospitality, and restorative, lazy days under the grand oak trees with a good book. Thank you again to the entire staff for making our first vacation since COVID one for the books. We felt safe, relaxed, and immensely well-cared for. If you're going to stay one place in the Valle, this is the spot.
