This is a true gem. The lodge is rustic and yet comfortable. The views are great. It was nice to get away from the electronic media and just relax. The lodge has plentiful reading material to learn about the area and lots of other interesting things. The restaurant has good food.

We read about Hannagan Meadow Lodge many years ago and have always wanted to go. We decided to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary there and couldn't have been happier. Stayed in the honeymoon suite, which was very nice and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. Every meal we ate in the restaurant was delicious. We took several hikes and...

My husband and I stayed in a cabin next door to the lodge. had to adjust the portable heater a bit. fireplace is natural and emits plenty of heat. cabin had full kitchen, although a bit rustic. outlets in short supply. WiFi works in or near the lodge. cellphones do not. I would suggest bringing a coffee thermos from home,...

We spent the Labor Day weekend 2016 (Friday through Monday) at the Lodge in the Al-Cha-Se room, and ate almost all of our meals in the restaurant. Very good value for a rustic lodge experience in a very isolated area. We saw wildlife, walked several trails, and talked to staff and other guests. We were very well treated by staff;...

Being from Tucson we appreciated the beautiful location and cool breezes. We also were in Cabin 10, which was not great, but considering the cost of business in a remote location we guess it was OK. It had great views of the meadow from the porch. The staff was quite helpful. It is a great base for drives through the surrounding...

The #10 cabin where we stayed certainly wasn't worth the $160 per night we paid. First of all the SMOKE ALARM had been removed!!!!! Big NO NO. The shower was awful with rotting wood on the floor. Not surprising because the shower head leaked. There was no electrical outlet in the bathroom. The louvered blinds had gotten so hot from...

Madder than a box of frogs on speed. Relocated Mexican wolves, a waitress who wanted everyone to know she is the owner's daughter, a filthy cabin with a sweet ickle mouse which kept my wife awake half the night (not a euphemism), a lovely horse called Pancho, an amazing drive from Morenci (why isn't this road more famous), Alpine temperatures...

Our hiking club, A Little Off the Beaten Path, rented most of the lodge rooms and cabins for a hiking trek down the Fish Creek Trail. We have stayed here before and just love the cozy comfy cabins, wildlife in the meadow and employees. A special shout out to Charlene, Tamara, Cameron and Gene for their warm hospitality and generosity!

Love Hannagan Meadow Lodge! The staff is so friendly and it is such a great escape from the Phoenix heat. My group has gone there twice this year already and I don't know if the Summer or the Winter is more beautiful. It was 104 when we left Phoenix and 72 when we arrived at Hannagan. Couldn't have asked for...

Our room was quite comfortable. One comfortable chair would have been nice though the common area down the hall was quite nice offering very comfortable seating. Dining choices were adequate and priced reasonably. If there were attractions available at the Lodge, they were not communicated.
