We took our five grand-kids (2-10 years old) up to Alpine to see the trees turning and hopefully see some wildlife and play at Luna Lake. We stayed at Mountain Hi Lodge after scoping it out earlier in the week. We were looking for a place that would accommodate seven of us without a huge payout. We discovered that they...

The only room we could get was a kitchenette. We have stayed here before in a regular room. I don't mind rustic but there comes a point when a business should invest some money back in their property. The linoleum flooring the in the kitchenette needs to be replaced. There were several worn spots. Also they were full that weekend...

Staff was exceptional! Check in was easy - and somewhat old-fashioned (paper check-in, metal key). Pros: great value, clean rooms, parking at your doorstep, great shower, well-stocked kitchenette, no smoking, pet friendly. Cons: No air conditioning - but the town is quiet so open windows let the cool breeze in. We stayed in August and were comfortable - but didn't...

After leaving a place down the road because of their large dogs causing my granddaughter to get upset...this place was a little gem. Check-in was great and so friendly. Bed was so comfortable. Pillows could be a little softer. Wifi worked great. Very clean. Loved the wall decorations.

Very comfortable motel. Kathleen (manager) was extremely helpful, offering a campfire and smores for my grand daughter. The owners are aggressively updating and refurbishing the rooms and décor. We enjoyed the "Cowboy Suite" and interacting with other guests. Management gave us lots of advice on local activities, restaurants and directions. We had been camping and the manager let us check...

Just got back from a recent stay in Alpine. Couldn't wait to review this great place. We stayed in one of the suites with full kitchen. Number one, it had two rooms, three beds and a rollaway cot. The beds were new and very comfortable. We had plenty of room and really got a lot of use out of the...

After almost two weeks of traveling in NM and having awful eating and lodging experiences we found this place online, had a good feeling about it, called, and headed over. It has been an awesome stay and we think we're going to stay again tonite. Calvin has been a phenomenal host--so kind and...
