Stayed here a few years back and loved being able to walk directly from my room's deck out to the meadow that overlooked the ocean in the distance. Breakfasts were wonderful and the innkeepers were thoughtful and kind. I was traveling alone and they did little things to make me feel comfortable, like picking fresh flowers for my table that...

We visited Fensalden Inn for our 1st wedding anniversary. It rained our entire wedding weekend in February 2014. Sure enough, exactly one year later, the storms came rolling in. And it was far worse. We stayed at the Inn for 3 nights and had about 6 hours of electrical power the entire stay. It could have ruined the weekend, but...

We had a terrific experience during a weekend stay at the Inn. We booked the Bungalow, which was a wonderful cottage located at the end of the quiet property. The bungalow is great for a family/friends trip -- with a kitchen, grill, and many beds there is a lot of space to enjoy company. Breakfast is great! Homemade quiche and...

My wife and I just returned from a short trip to Mendocino. We stayed two nights at Fensalden. The Inn is beautiful. We stayed in the main building (there are three choices, the main Inn, the tower and the bungalow). Chris made us very welcome, breakfast is delicious and the conversation informative. The room was very comfortable but the main...

One of the best experiences in a long time. Everything was perfect, the house (in an perfect location: between the beautiful redwood forests and the Pacific Ocean, you actually can see both from your room), the breakfast (exquisite, a shame they don't do dinners too, you wouldn't want to eat anywhere else), and, of course, the family (Molli, Chris, little...

The Fensalden Inn was by far our very best B&B experience in many years. It was an absolute gem of a B&B in every respect and more reasonably priced than any other quality place we've found in all of our travels in the Mendocino area. We stayed in the very spacious, beautiful - and romantic! - "Hawthorne Suite" with its...

We stayed in the Bungalow at Fensalden Inn and absolutely loved it. It is a little rustic, but very charming. The breakfast each morning was delicious and just what we needed to start our day. We will definitely stay again when we head back to the coast!

This is not the first time we have stayed at Fensalden but it is the first time since the Inn changed ownership years ago. It's as good as ever. Our family of three stayed in the Water Tower Suite, with our dog, as the Inn is dog-friendly in many respects. The suite was comfortable with an upstairs, almost loft-like bedroom...

Completely renovated, the Inn continues to offer a quiet respite from the hectic pace of today's world. Tower Suite and Bungalow house a full kitchen will necessary utensils and amenities; both also have tub (Bungalow has tub with jacuzzi jets).
