This was my first time here, and I was pleasantly impressed. The location is good for touring Angels Camp and the Gold Country. The motel is clean and well presented. The rooms are newly renovated and decorated, furnished well, including fridge, microwave and in room coffee. Beds are nicely made up. Lighting is more than adequate. The place is quiet, clean, and very comfortable. Recommended!
Again all I can say is bad experience. I would definitely not recommend staying at this Motel! From the start management botched to my payment transaction. Convinced it was no fault of their own management kept my bank card and proceeded to run it several more times on my day of my check in. While being assisted to my room by staff via pushing me in my wheelchair; the housekeeper cause the rubber come off the wheel of my chair, leaving me with a broken wheelchair and no bank card I have decided I will never stay here again. Upon checking out the next day again management was trying to run my bank card to get money they were already paid. I left the town of Angels Camp proceeded home to Sonora. Called my bank to cancel my card and was told they tried to run my card several more times. So no I would not recommend staying here at all my second horrible experience and Angels Camp I would either stay in Sonora or proceed to Jackson or San Andreas for your stay. I am still left with the broken wheelchair and now I have to wait for a new bank card to come in the mail.…
white hair on chair someone's dog hair and blood on sheets no designated dog area no outlet for microwave. flooring was sticky gross. office was closed in the morning had to look for receptionist to return key card. horrible stay!
We spent the night in Angels Camp at the Angels Inn, since our relatives house was full of "other relatives" and there was no room at the "Inn" for us, so we stayed at this hotel just a few miles away from our family. It was very pleasant, the room was exceptionally clean and the mattress was firm and comfortable. The room seemed very spacious. don't know if it was just the placement of the furniture or what, but it seemed LARGE! The room was VERY quiet. Disappointed that there was no refrigerator in toe room until we found it "hiding" inside a large cabinet. We would definitely stay here again if the need should arise
My wife and I spent a night here on our way to Big Trees State Park. Our room was quiet, clean and updated, the bed comfortable, the bathroom clean and the water pressure good. A good stay indeed. The only thing we'll change for next time is getting a room with hard floors instead of the carpet, because it helps with my wife's allergies.
