Avalon can be loud and frenetic. The Old Turner Inn is a gem. Lovely, well appointed and quiet rooms. The owner, Kathleen, offers a wealth of knowledge that will ensure the best Catalina experience. Her recommendations for; a florist, massage, dining and hiking were all outstanding.

From the moment we made our reservations to the morning we left, Kathleen was extremely welcoming, and helpful with numerous suggestions of things to do! We felt as if we had made a new friend! The wine and different yummy hors d'oeuvres each night were a real treat, as well as the delicious breakfasts. We felt right at home, yet...

My first time to Catalina island, staying at the Old Turner Inn made our stay welcoming and charming, felt like we were home away from home, waking up to a delicious breakfast, and the inn's homemade granola! yummy, brought a few bags home. Conveniently located near restaurants, shops, nightlife and the harbor area. Will definitely be back soon.

Catalina is a wonderful place and this is a wonderful inn, conveniently located, with knowledgeable and friendly inn ownership and staff, and a great breakfast and afternoon snacks and refreshments. We would definitely stay here again. Larry & Marylou Ford Plymouth, Massachusetts

There are so many great things! For me, the special quality of staying at the Old Turner Inn is getting to know fellow travelers, sharing experiences over (a great) breakfast or after the day's activities, enjoying wine, great conversation and stories from Kathleen's father one evening and Dave and Kathleen the next. The inn is about 200 feet from the...

although we only had a brief time to stay and enjoy Santa Catalina Island, we found ourselves in a perfect place to spend an overnight! We were created upon arrival by the innkeeper, Kathleen, who could not have been more welcoming and accommodating! Her extra attention to detail makes a big difference in this choice of lodging, the wine and...

I cannot say enough about our weekend stay at The Old Turner Inn. My fiancé and I chose Avalon to get married at and were obviously looking for a romantic place to stay. We selected The Old Turner Inn and could not have been more pleased. Our experience started even before our arrival with Kathleen answering all my email questions...

My husband surprised me with a weekend getaway to Catalina for my birthday...without kids!😊 Because my husband knows me well, he let make all the accommodations. I chose the Old Turner Inn knowing I wanted to stay at a B&B, and after seeing the location and reading all the reviews, it was an easy choice. Kathleen made the whole process...

I feel a bit of a party pooper after all the glowing reviews, but we both agreed we had stayed in several better B and B's, though the Old Turner Inn is a pleasant place. The coffee they make at 7:30 is barely warm by breakfast. When another guest complained about it, Christa said "I'm doing my best!" the next...

We recently stayed at the Old Turner Inn for the Catalina Jazz Trax and had a wonderful time. We stayed in the Wicker Room at the back of the Inn upstairs. We had a queen bed, a nice bathroom and huge closet. There was wine and appetizers in the afternoon a marvelous cooked breakfast each morning at 9 am. I...
