Enjoy staying there. Free athletics club is big advantage. Big pool, hot tubes, tennis courts, ping pong and many other stuff - you won't be bored especially during rain. Room is big for 2 persons and has everything what you need. Only location of TV was questionable, remote...More
The inn is a great spot for a quiet couples getaway off the beaten beach route, yet still close to the ocean. It's a modern facility that blends fine woods and a craftsman-style look in well-appointed accommodations. The room had excellent linens, a stately rustic...More
Thank Arrow101
Response from Chris K, General Manager at Avila Village InnResponded 24 July 2017
Dear Arrow101,
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your recent experience with other travelers. We we're so pleased to read that you found the Inn's location to be quiet and peaceful. I was also thrilled to hear that you enjoyed the...More
8:30 Sunday morning and there is no hot water room209. Call Sam at front desk who replies the problem is too many people are showering. So it’s a known problem. Her excuse? We’re a small hotel. Rather a stupid reason. Try to get a manager?...More
"Romantic Stay-cation! A+"
My significant other and I spent our 7 year anniversary at The Avila Village Inn and could not be happier with our choice. The room was so romantic!
First of all the staff was extremely kind & helpful. They even left us...More
Great hotel and location! I love the very cold weather during the winter months. While this location does not serve continental breakfast, despite the constant beeping I heard for two straight nights and the inoperable TV, I still love this place. When I informed the...More
It's a bit of a trek. I would rent bikes and ride them to the beach. If you're used to walking good distances, then walk. It's just hard sometimes when you've got all your beach gear with you.
So much to do, so close by! We have the Bob Jones City to Sea Trail which follows a meandering stream from the Inn's backyard all the way to downtown Avila Beach and the Avila Beach Golf Resort. The resort has various... More
So much to do, so close by! We have the Bob Jones City to Sea Trail which follows a meandering stream from the Inn's backyard all the way to downtown Avila Beach and the Avila Beach Golf Resort. The resort has various concerts and fun food and wine events throughout the year which are located within walking distance to the Inn. We are also close to the locally famous Sycamore Crest Trail which follows a steep path through Sycamore and Oak trees and leads to stunning vistas overlooking the Pacific Ocean. If that doesn't float your boat there are numerous tasting rooms, restaurants, shops and boutiques located just 1.7 miles in downtown Avila Beach! See you at the coast!

Room Tips
"Don't choose a room with a view of the trail if you want privacy in your balcony hot tub."
