This is an "older motel" and it lacks many amenities of newer places, such as a coffee pot, clock radio, tall shower and more electric outlets. However, it was clean and worked for my needs of a two night stay. The most important item for this particular place, was the location next to the C&T SRR and the fact I...

I find it interesting that my first review was deleted....I found this place pretty terrible. Mainly because of the noise. It is overpriced for what it is but the owners are nice. The terrible thing is the all night parties of other guests, the music from the bar next door and the outrageous humming from the tractor trailers parked around...

We spent one night here as we were traveling through the area. We made a reservation and the price we were originally quoted was not the price we were charged when we arrived. The accommodations are dated at best. The carpet was filthy to the point we wouldn't walk on it barefooted. It also had burns in the carpet. One...

A little old but very clean and owners are very pleasant and obliging. Walking distance to narrow guage r.r. Breakfast left a little to be desired but I don't rent rooms for breakfast. It was all I asked for in a hotel.

This is an older motel that lacks some amenities of newer places, such as adequate electric outlets. However, it was clean and we had everything we needed. And most important for this particular occasion, the location was right next door to the train. It worked out well.

This is a basic Motel with clean rooms, cable and WI-fi connection only in Lobby. They offer a continental breakfast, but you can go next door to the restaurant for a full breakfast. Hot water, A/C and plenty of towels. Late night arrival after calling, they were helpful in getting checked in.

I mistakenly figured that if one was wanting to ride the Cumbres & Toltec Narrow Gauge Railroad that staying at the Narrow Gauge Railroad Inn would be just the ticket and although it was obvious from the photo and information on their website that it was an older motel I figured it would be adequate for two nights stay. It...

We spent one night here after taking the Toltec and Cumbres train. It was very basic. If we were doing it over, we would have driven to the next city to spend the night as there would have been more choice in accommodation. The price was very good for this hotel and it was very clean. The wifi worked with...

I stayed 4 nights 7-10 Sept 2012 - not luxurious, but exactly as a good motel should be; clean, comfortable, efficiently run and fairly priced. Management/staff were most friendly too. It is next to Antonito station, eastern terminus of the wonderful Cumbres & Toltec Steam Train, surely one of the Wonders of the World, and certainly something that portrays an...

When we pulled up we thought this place was out of business (we had already reserved a room). The parking lot was desolate. The sign appeared to be about 30 years old. They still have "real keys" for the room. But the price was right compared to the places in Alamosa and for one night what the heck. I will...
