We stayed for two nights. The heat was not working up to speed either night. This was during the coldest weather in almost 30 years.
I was disappointed that we were offered no relief the first night. It was really cold. The second night the...More
We have stayed here before and it is a very nice place. However, on our latest trip someone apparently messed with the master thermostat in the evening. We woke up in the middle of the night and thought we had been transported to Siberia. Something...More
This is a challenge - loved the ambiance - we stayed 3 nites. Upstairs room - cold - as the thermostat for the floor is in the hall - a plumbing leak had us packing and moving to another room. Could not access the internet...More
We stayed Christmas Eve for one night. The room was really nice and so were the people working there. The breakfast on Christmas morning was great. Just like a home cooked meal. I would defiantly stay there again.
Staying in an older establishment is sometimes a little risky, but the Coombs inn has been restored well. While it is an old building and the floors creak a bit, the decor is lovely and the bed are comfortable.
The staff is very friendly and...More

I have a well behaved feline and the charge is $25 per day. I did not take our feline on the visit in December, but I only stayed one evening to check out the place for a future longer visit. I have since talked with the management and received info. I suggest you directly call them. 1-850-653-9199[L] or 1-888-244-8320[TF] I believe the separate 4 unit house next to the Main Coombs house will be ideal. The back unit has a separate galley for cooking where I can place her food etc. and shut that door to the bedroom.A separate living room area with a door I can also shut, will be perfect for my well behaved feline to stay and socialize with us. I usually bring my own covers to put over a couch, when I travel with her on vacation. I also bring a large plastic drop cloth to put down on the floor for her litter area. Unlike dogs that you can put on a leash and travel around town with, I find that if you express your responsible plan with the management, they appreciate you. I also make sure there is an understanding that no maid service will occur without us being present . I believe the management will gladly work with you as they are so friendly. I actually stayed in the back unit I'm describing. Hope this helps.
