This was one of the best vacations we've ever taken. The room we stayed in (Sting Ray) was 5 ft. from the pool with a beautiful ocean view. The room itself was laid out nicely. 3 separate rooms, a "living room" with an ocean view, a bedroom and a separate bathroom with a shower and double sinks. It was SO clean and nice. We were treated with a free breakfast of three different choices each day. I especially liked the Belizean breakfast with fry jacks. We also ate dinner at the restaurant several days. The paella and grouper with shrimp in a cream sauce were especially wonderful. In spite of this resort being so beautiful, what really made it special was the people. They all made us feel as if we were part of their family. Each one went out of their way to make sure we were happy. Thank you Linda for making our mornings great with those awesome breakfasts. Thanks to Manny for being our server most meals. Thank you Gian, Zamir, Pablo, Enrique and ALL the other employees who made our stay so special in so many ways. We were also fortunate to meet Mike and Sandy, the owners who live in South Dakota when they're not at the resort. Nice people. We're already planning our next vacation at Bella Vista. Thank you all again and we can hardly wait until we return to this beautiful paradise.…

Our stay at Bella Vista Resort was amazing! Linda, Pedro, Manny, and Enrique were outstanding hosts. They were extremely helpful, friendly, timely, and caring. The place is beautiful and the accommodations for the wedding and reception we attended while there was arranged beautifully. I can't wait to go back again and hopefully see the same faces and maybe meet other staff as well.

First of all, Philip and I want to thank Juan, Susie, Enrique, Emmanuel, Daid, the kitchen staff, all the rest of the crew and of course Dakota for making our stay in Bella Vista resort such a blast!!! All you made it so special and unforgettable for us!!! We will be back as soon as we can!!! My husband and I chose to explore Belize for our wedding anniversary. When we arrived in our room in Bella Vista we got awestruck by the crew’s so gorgeous and detailed decoration for our special occasion! The complimentary pick up and drop off the welcoming drinks, the breakfast and the use of non motorized water toys included in your stay, as well as the option of renting a golf cart from them, are all such a nice touch! Unfortunately we didn’t manage to find time to try their Spa services, but this is definitely something in our agenda for next time! We stayed in the Sting Ray room which is right next to the pool and just a few steps from the restaurant and the beach! Our room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. We initially had booked 5 nights there with the intend of spending our last night in Belize around Belize City, but we decided to stay in Bella Vista instead. It was so hard for us to leave and believe me you will feel the same! Aji the restaurant on site is fantastic! It’s right on the beach with some of the tables being right in the sand under the trees and string lights and a vast view of the Caribbean Sea! The food and the drinks are amazing! The service is meticulous! The ambience is very romantic and cozy! Add also the live music performances by local musicians, plus the tour company you can book various awesome tours with onsite( for which I will leave a separate review)! So what else can you wish for? Their sister property Pur deserves your attention too! We didn’t stay there because the type of cabana we wanted was all booked. We went there for breakfast though and it was fabulous! Both properties are very close to each other and have great locations being out of the hustle of downtown San Pedro, but still not far away from it, neither from Secret beach. …

My wife and I stayed there for a couple of nights. It was great from the beginning to the end. The place is incredibly well kept. First of all, we were picked off and dropped off at the boat terminal at no extra cost. We were welcomed with a complimentary drink. We got a suit with a kitchen and living room and we had a very nice king size bed. Their price almost matched the prices to get just a room at the low end hotels near the terminal. All their towels, sheets, and furniture are in new condition. The resort is waterfront with their restaurant on the beachfront. On both nights that we stayed there, they had live music. The food was great and all their staff WOWED us. They also have a nice pool but unfortunately, we did not have time to use it. Thank you for the great experience.…

Best experience in San Pedro. The hospitality at this resort was great. You can tell all the staff really love working there and the resort is well taken care of. A group of us rented a couple of the suites and they were all in great condition. I would definitely stay here again. The food at the restaurant/bar is also some of the best food I had while vacationing in San Pedro.

We had an amazing time while staying here. We rented the bonefish cabin near the entrance which was perfect for my wife and I. The resort is perfect for running into San Pedro or cruising up to secret beach. Golf cart rental is a must and very easy to do. Linda, Pablo, Susie and Enrique along with the rest of the staff were always kind and helpful in any questions or concerns you had. They helped us find excursions on the caye and helped arrange our flights back to Belize city. We also had the opportunity to take a short paddle from the dock with the two person kayak (included in stay) tied off on a buoy and had our very our private snorkel session. This is all without saying that breakfast lunch and dinner are all amazing at the attached AJI Taps bar/restaurant that’s on the same grounds. All in all we would certainly be patrons here again on another trip.…

Place was clean friendly and away from it all. The water out in front of their Dock was beautiful. Honeymoon Suite was Amazing - Worth it the extra money. Its the top of the resort so you have a great view of the water from your private balcony.
