This hotel was our last stop for 3 days on our tour and was delightful. The welcome on arrival was very friendly from Ryan and Susy and all the other staff we encountered were just as great and determined to provide the best experience. A lovely 2 storey horse shoe shaped hotel right on the beach front. Small but very well maintained fresh water pool with decked sunbed area overlooking the sea for when you get tired of the turquoise Ocean to swim in. The atmosphere is laid back with a central sandy courtyard arrangement with hammocks and seating areas. Rooms were large with safe deposit and enormous bathroom and shower. Good a/c and ceiling fan. For those arriving by air Tropic Air light aircraft airstrip is across road at front of hotel. for those arriving by water taxi Ocean Ferry is 5 minutes along road and costs USD5 by taxi/golf cart, or like us if you turn left along beach it is a delightful 5-8 minute walk along beach front which is suitcase friendly. Along the beach from the hotel are great restaurants and bars with a variety of menus for all tastes but sea food is particularly well catered for. Lots of watersport providers along the beach with the hotel having its dive shop, Ambergris Divers on site. An excellent hotel made all the better as usual by the tremendous staff. Would love to return.

Joined my brother and Mom (who's in her 80's) for an awesome week here at the Sunbreeze! Not knowing what to expect we were so happy to have chosen the best place to stay in all of San Pedro. The staff were lovely, helpful and willing to accommodate any request. Hotel was in excellent condition, very clean, nice spacious rooms, and a wonderful patio to sit out on to have our morning coffee or just chill. It was lovely having the inner courtyard with palms, sand and loungers set up like we were looking out on a beach! They raked that sand every day and were always sweeping and mopping the walkways around our rooms which all faced the tropical courtyard. The restaurant and bar were very nice too. Staff super pleasant! Never too noisy in the evenings, and the food was good.(breakfast eggs and sausage leave a little to be desired, but everything else was great!) Yummy Piña Coladas! They have a very popular sushi night, recommend making a reservation for that as everyone from all around comes on Sushi Night! Loungers by the pool were comfy with the cushions and the pool sparkling clean and refreshing. ( They definitely do need a handrail on the steps leading into the pool however, as my Mom found it tricky to balance and step up and out.) The WiFi was great too. All around the complex, even sitting out on the lounges by the pool we always had a connection. Great location across from the small airport. Not noisy from the small plane traffic, was infrequent and not bothersome, and not into the evening hours. Hotel is right on the beach, a short walk to many beachfront restaurants, and shops on the main street. The dive shop and pier with the boats that take you out scuba or snorkeling were right there as well. Would most definitely recommend, we had a fabulous visit! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The location was perfect at the edge of downtown but close enough to everything so we could easily walk at a reasonable price. Having the dive shop on site made it easy to book our snorkeling adventures. The staff was great and went out of their way to book things for us and give us local advice on where to eat, shop, etc. This was a great value overall.

Excellent location-exactly across from the airport (but we didn't hear planes constantly). We appreciated that the pool/chairs were set back a bit from the beach where people were walking. Spacious rooms. Friendly & helpful staff. Staying here was like a piece of quiet paradise, walking out the front door to the hustle and bustle of the island. Restaurant had many gluten free options and were knowledgeable. Husband with Celiac never had any issues after eating at Blue Water Grill.

This is a well kept hotel that I found very comfortable. Nearly every room has a partial ocean view. There is no water park or game room to keep the under 21 crowd occupied. I think that they would get bored quickly even with their hand held electronics. The rooms are nicely appointed and feature an in-room safe that is easy to operate and a flat screen TV with cable that will keep you in touch with all of your favorite programs. The restaurant serves a quality product at reasonable prices. Be sure to make reservations for dinner if you want to eat here.

Though it advertises beach front, and it is, there is really no beach but instead there is a breakwall with sand above and in the water below that. But it is beach front. So I was disappointed that I couldn’t just be a beach bum if I wanted to and stroll into and out of the Caribbean. Have to go somewhere else on the Caye for that. Certainly San Pedro has a stronger draw to people for reef activity, but I like a nice sandy beach going into the water at a resort. Disregard that if you’re not a beach person. Otherwise 5 star. There’s a nice little pool and the hotel is immaculate and well maintained. The attached restaurant is very good but there’s all sorts of places nearby in easy walking distance. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The water pressure for showering is a bit low but not terrible. The staff couldn’t help enough with any room concerns , responding immediately and took control of reservations with local businesses to set you up with whatever you needed.They were seriously fantastic.

AC works, large room, large rain shower, beautiful pool and deck area, I have no complaints. I love the hammocks and there’s little places with water to wash your shoes and feet off of sand. Beds are also incredibly comfy

We jumped on a very last min. trip to Belize with our local dive shop when another couple had to cancel. Thankfully it all worked out lovely we have been here for 5 days. The diving is amazing and this hotel has been a wonderful addition to the trip. The staff at the front desk, to the pool and groundsmen and Ophelia who serves us most of our meals is fantastic. This is my 2nd trip to Belize, 1st for my husband and we will definitely be back with our children. Cleanliness and covid procedures are in place everywhere. We feel very safe, probably safer then back home in CO where the numbers are rising. It was great that breakfast and lunch were included at the Blue Water Grill on the property. It is super close walk from the airport to the Sun Breeze Hotel and the dive shop is on location as well. Perfect dive vacation staying here!

We spent a week here in November and we loved it ! We had a lovely room with a huge terrace at the end of the corridor, overlooking the pool, the dive shop and the sea! The place was quiet and peaceful and a nice place to come back to after a day's diving. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is close to the airport, but as there are only tiny planes coming in you barely hear them. We actually walked to and from the airport with our luggage (and some help from a friendly staff member).. and it only took a couple of minutes. From the street you wouldn't know that this place was located behind the front door. We had some meals & drinks at the pool bar/restaurant. Everyone was friendly and we met some nice people. The beach bar has great views. The beach area near the pool is actually a thoroughfare .. almost like a street in itself.. people walking by all the time, so the pool was the place to relax at rather than the sandy area, which wasn't really a "beach area", as there are boats coming and going all the time around there. Each evening we'd walk up and down that beach "road" and choose a different place to eat. We loved the restaurant next door .. right next door... There are excellent bars and night life if you walk along the beachfront. The rooms are accessed via staircase.. no elevator.. all rooms are either on the ground floor or the first floor, so it's only a few steps up, but if you have a mobility issue, you should get a ground floor room.

Sunbreeze Hotel has a hotel setting with various categories of rooms and located next to the small airport. Sunbreeze Suites is not in the same location. It is about 15 minutes walking from the hotel. At that location it is all units with fridge, stove,etc. The hotel has the better restaurant and pool. Both are managed by the same management staff.
Tropical greetings from Belize. We have the option to add daily breakfast, or a full meal plan option included breakfast, lunch and dinner. When booking direct on our booking engine you can include these as add ons. We also offer vacation packages which include meals.
Hi, if you are traveling from Belize City to San Pedro by flight with either Maya Island air or Tropic air, we can have our bellman to meet you at the local airport, assist you with your luggage and walk you over to our SunBreeze hotel since we are located right in front of the local airport. Please provide us with your arrival time here on the island and the name of the company you will be traveling with. If you are staying at the SunBreeze Suites, you will need to take a taxi (these are parked right in front of the local airport) that will charge you approximately US$8.00 to take over to the Suites.
