We stayed at X'Tan Ha for our 10th anniversary and decided to visit again for our 20th. I didn't think it would be possible to match our last visit but it was amazing again. The villas are well maintained and very clean. The grounds are immaculate and since we stayed during low season we had the pools to ourselves. We rented a golf cart in town and stopped in at various spots north and south of the resort. The staff are very accommodating and helpful. I mentioned in passing that I would like a hammock and the next day it was installed on the patio. The kitchenette has all the basics you would need to make some meals. Make sure to stop at a grocery store on the way from the airport. We ate all of our breakfasts and a few dinners in our villa. We took the Hol Chan snorkelling tour with Tuff Enuff and it was the same amazing experience as it was 10 years ago. We had a few dinners at the restaurant which were really good despite having a limited menu. I think this is the perfect spot if you want peace and quiet at your home base but access to amenities. I would defintely recommend renting a golf cart rather than taking a taxi to town (it's very expensive compared to a few days rental).…

We loved our stay at X’Tan. We came in the off season, so it was pretty quiet around the property, but the service was excellent. The bar had good drinks and food (our favorite was the cilantro sea bass, shrimp enchiladas, and fry cakes that came with the Belizean breakfast), the pools were nice, and we did several activities through the on-site dive shop (snorkeling trips and a Mayan ruins tour), Tuff Enuff. We also used the complimentary kayaks to swim out past the sea grass and enjoy snorkeling and swimming on our own. I loved the hammock on our room’s patio! Reception and the dive shop both had good local restaurant recommendations, including Mambo which had a complimentary water taxi shuttle. They also were very helpful with our lost airline bag situation. You can rent a golf cart to go into San Pedro, or they can call you a taxi. The rooms were nice, housekeeping was great, and overall we had a great stay. Bug spray is a must in the evening!…

Wonderfully isolated, well-maintained, facility. CONVENIENT bar and restaurant but prepare to enjoy your drinks while awaiting the great cuisine. I would recommend this place for a quiet get-away. !!!!

What an amazing resort to stay at when visiting Ambergris Caye! The location is a fun 30 minute golf cart ride from the center of San Pedro with many stops available along the way - restaurants, shopping, dive shops, and the famous Secret Beach. We enjoyed this location and resort for its beauty and phenomenal people who work here. The pools are superior and the beach is right there! We enjoyed the comfort and amenities of the super clean, super cute condo with perfect WiFi and excellent AC. We enjoyed hanging out on the front porch, the pools and eating at the over the water bar. The food was exceptional - super tasty, fresh and hot from the kitchen! It was very convenient to have access to an on-site dive shop to arrange for scuba/snorkeling tours. We also had access to kayaks to snorkel out to the reef with careful eyes on us from the dive shop. With golf cart rental, we were also able to explore the area and go to town as well. Just like any other tropical vacation spot be sure to pack your reef approved sunblock, bug spray and anti-itch cream and avoid beach during the dusk/dawn hours when sandfleas are active and wind is not present. We had gentle ocean breezes most of the time and we were prepared so we had no issues at all. We are coming back!!!…

Great beach experience with dock bar. All of the employees are very polite and courteous. Food and drinks are very good. Beautiful pools and white sand grounds are very clean. Highly recommended.

Great 9 days at X'Tan Ha. Very peaceful. Buildings and grounds in excellent shape. New restaurant management took over the day after the previous management left. Was seamless to the new menu with great fresh fish, cerviche, shrimp dishes, etc. We caught a bunch of snappers one day and had them prepared by Alvin (sp?) the chef. Ate that 3 times it was so good. Over the water bar was fun with great and imaginative drinks if you wanted something special. My fishing buddy who went with me caught 9 bonefish right off the dock with his fly rod. Caught a nice permit with a guide one day. We rented a golf cart for the stay and explored north and south, hitting some different bars and restaurants.

What a wonderful experience from start to finish! The staff were extremely helpful, very responsive, and provided wonderful recommendations. The resort was great – good location, everything you need, super comfortable. Belize was amazing! The people were kind. The weather/water was unbelievable. The food was great. Traveling around both the island and the mainland was easy and felt very safe. Highly recommend this experience.

We were lucky enough to stay at this amazing resort over Spring Break. We stayed at Michelle and Scott Gerbozy's place at the resort. From the initial email communication to the day we arrived, it was nothing but top notch service. The driver that picked us up at the airport stopped at a local grocery store first so we could pick up some drinks, etc. As we were going thru San Pedro he gave us suggestions to go eat, etc. Once we arrived at X'Tan (by the way I was wearing a boot due to a recent foot injury) the front desk made sure i had all the help i needed walking across the sand ;) From the restaurant, who always accommodated our daughter (who is a picky eater) food requests to the Kim at the Dive shop on site, to the workers who made sure our golf cart was working properly and always full of gas - we never had bad service while here. Seaweed - what seaweed? There was always workers clearing the pesky seaweed away for the beach multiple times a day. We absolutely loved out stay here and look forward to coming back again in the future!…

We had a fantastic week at X-Tan resort. Room was very nice with a morning coffee and view of the sunrise over the sea. Dive shop was very helpful setting up snorkeling and providing kayaks and SUP. Restaurant food was very good and staff accommodating to diet limitations. The island is calm and not commercial which is what we were looking for. This trip was three years in the making and very glad we finally had the opportunity to experience X-Tan and Belize. We will be back for sure

This was our second visit to x’Tan Ha. We loved our first visit, in 2017 so much, that we had to bring our son because he missed the first trip. The water is beautiful and people are wonderful. We rented a golf cart and drove to the Truck Stop for dinner and did a snorkel excursion with Tuff E Nuff. We all had a wonderful time.
