Highlights: The hotel is centrally located. The rooms are cool (good A/C). They provided beach towels. There is an upstairs deck from which you can see a lot of the city/island. It is expensive to replace your room key if you lose it. It is clean. They have free coffee. Lowlights: Watch out if you are sick (which is common on these islands if you are a tourist and do not pay attention to what you ingest), for us they did not send anyone to clean up. This was our our experience and may have changed.

Very central location. No lift or porters to help with luggage - much more informal than that. Does not provide breakfast. Provision of coffee and hot water is erratic and seems to be subject to 'mood' Room was large enough but doesnt quite work. Lots of little irritations. Beds slide on the laminate floor; missing shower shelf; odd, eccentric sink tap; broken lampshade; no TV. Needs a refresh. No view.

Good accommodation with access to back street and main jetty. Towels were changed daily and staff are more than happy to assist with anything. Drinking water, coffee, hot water provided free of charge in reception.

I stayed here for 3 nights in January 2020. The shower room had no fan so smelt of raw sweage and must. The only plug socket was exposed. The ceiling fan was loose from the ceiling. There were ants in my bed. I asked reception to change my sheets, they said they would however they just made my bed. I would definitely not recommend this hotel and never stay here again. I had so many ant bites leaving this hotel.

We stayed at this hotel over Christmas as part of a tour. The hotel was full and some of us had to stay in the “overflow” accommodation just across the street. Possibly the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Communal area up to the rooms was dirty (I know it’s a sandy area but this area was never clean) It resembled a building site. The room was dark. There were 2 coat hangers but nowhere to hang them. The floor was dusty and the surfaces of the dresser was dusty too. Basically the whole room felt damp and smelt damp too. The mirror in the bathroom was not fixed to the wall above the sink and had a broken piece off at one corner which was sharp. There was no where to hang towels after use. That’s if we actually got towels after so called housekeeping had been. The floors of the bathroom and bed area were never swept or mopped as there was an ever present sandy muddy puddle at the entrance which meant you had to try to jump over it to avoid getting caked in the stuff!! The staff, there were 2 pleasant chaps who were ever smiling but one of the lady receptionists was, how can I put it, not at all bothered and never smiled!! We asked to change our room but as the hotel was full, no such luck. Some of our fellow travellers had a similar experience, whilst some of them had nice, clean, rooms in the “proper hotel”. I honestly do not know how they can have this part of the hotel open for business. It is beyond belief! I would not recommend this hotel and avoid at all costs. We were so looking forward to a nice, basic “clean” hotel to spend our Christmas. Disappointing.
